Alanna's replied by sending a nearby book flying at Faithful. Another one flew at Bel. "YES! It kind of is! And FAITHFUL!" She still had her sword out.
Faithful yowled and jumped away from the flying book. "Hey, I made a deal! I kept my side, he's just paying me back!" "Yes, but you could have oh, I don't know, warned me!" Alanna's sword waved around a bit. She closed her eyes and counted to ten. And then twenty. "I'm sorry, not your fault. And dare I ask why you owe him food?"
Alanna blinked and opened her mouth to say something and then shook her head. "You and I are having a very long talk later." She glared at the cat. Faithful looked back at her, trying for innocent. "Um, yeah." She flapped a hand at Bel. "Apparently, Faithful can work with doors now. So um, yeah." She flapped her hand again and nearly fled into the bathroom. Faithful did his best not to chuckle.
Faithful grinned back at Bel as a loud crash came from the bathroom. "Proove it. Plus, the expression on her face was priceless. All of them, actually."
