Bel awoke instinctively when he heard people moving around in the cabin. Well, that was going to take some getting used to; the attic was much more private and quiet. He relaxed, snuggling closer to Phoebe. No sense in getting up yet if he didn't have a Monday morning workshop. He hoped Phoebe's schedule was the same.

A door slammed somewhere, and Cole winced. "Are you sure I can't kill anyone?"

Phoebe kissed his chest and then nuzzled him again. "If they keep doing that, I may change my mind."

"Maybe we can train the door to bite people who slam it," Cole said, kissing the top of her head.

"That is such a very tempting idea."

[demonbelthazor]

"Got a spell to make a door sentient? And with teeth?"

Phoebe smiled against his chest. "I'll have to check the book... and then I can write to Kiki."

"But first we sleep more," Cole said drowsily.

Phoebe nodded with her eyes still closed. "Too damn early for noise and moving."

Cole shifted the position of his hand. "Too early for this?"

Phoebe kissed his throat and shook her head.

"It's never too early for that."

"Too bad we're in a cabin full of people," Cole muttered against her hair.

Phoebe grinned. "We can go hide on the beach or the woods for awhile."

"That requires getting out of bed."

"That's a bad idea."
