"Never said anything about fair," said Anders, who couldn't disguise that now his face had gone as white as his knuckles. "Being willing to sacrifice yourself for someone else's sake isn't fair, but sometimes it's right. It might be frakking stupid, but if it's the only way, it's the only way."
Then, because he didn't know what else to say without completely freaking out, he snapped, "And you? Do not get to call me Samuel!"

"Please," Phoebe whispered to the three women that were currently holding her. "Please... just get me out of here."
"You could have killed me any time you wanted to," Anders said through clenched teeth, as he felt sweat start to pour down the back of his neck. "When you found out I told Parker . . . after the weekend when we were different people . . . when Bridge and Parker stopped you from taking me here . . . right from the start. But you wanted your fun instead. Face it, you get off more on frakking with people's heads than outright killing them."
Anders laughed, and the sound had a little more hysteria in it than he would have liked. "Well, then, I just have to make sure I never fall for your tricks again, don't I? Live the rest of my life being suspicious of everyone . . . you have no idea how much I hate you for this, you motherfrakker."
"You really have no idea what I feel," Anders snapped. "Give it up already -- I made a spineless chump of myself enough for you, and I'm done. No more."
Tannim stood before the archway they'd come through and drew his energy out and into the Gate, similar to the way he'd done it earlier (http://blessed-twice.livejournal.com/3175.html?thread=74343#t74343).
But even with the Gatorade and Power Bars and the time he'd taken to focus and recharge, Tannim was barely able to stand after opening the Gate. Once room 208 came into sharp focus, he anchored the Gate and stumbled through it, not trusting himself to even speak.

Mel didn't waste any time and headed into the portal.
It was against his better judgement, as he wanted to wait till all the students were through but Wilson had to accept that he was a blazing liability to the group as long as he and the angelic powered ring on his finger remained in the Underworld, so he jumped through close behind the others.
Wyatt took hold of Lana and steered her toward the gate. "I don't know how you two got here," he said, "but you're going back now." Before Lana could protest, he pushed her through the gate.
Isabel had no plans on sticking around. She went through.
Anders followed right behind her -- he wanted desperately to throw up, and no way was he going to do that in hell.
Jo was right on Anders's heels. She wasn't going to stay around here longer than she had to.
Wyatt waved goodbye to his mom as Paige orbed out with Phoebe, Piper, and Angel. He'd call her later to check in. Right now she had to comfort her sister.
Alanna followed the crowd through the portal.
Bridge heads through the portal as well, keeping a concerned eye on Anders.
Tannim had held the Gate open for as long as he could, but he no longer had energy to feed it. He lost the anchor and the Gate flashed, tendrils of blue-green light streaking out just before it collapsed into itself. And then there was only a closet.
Tannim had just enough left to drag himself onto his bed before he passed out.

And that would be Wyatt and Chris, still in the Underworld, looking at the place where the gate had once stood.
"Oh, shit," Wyatt said.
"Oh, shit," Wyatt said.
Chris stared at the empty spot. "Why didn't he have enough energy to hold it open for us? He did on the way here!"
"Because of Lana and that other guy," Wyatt groaned. "We had two extras coming back. We are so screwed."
"Maybe... maybe Aunt Paige will realize that we didn't make it back and orb down to get us?" Chris suggested, though the sounds of angry demons seemed to be getting closer.
