Isabel can relate to inappropriate humor. And if she had actually gotten more then a few short cat naps in the last thirty some hours, she'd probably join in the joking herself. Instead she sighed and shook her head. "Do you know where we need to go? I just want to this to end."

"Yeah, I think so," Wyatt said. "We just gotta wait for my mom and Aunt Paige to get here. And I think they're bringing a friend of Bel's or something."

"Oh? Who?" Lack of sleep is probably the only reason she didn't realize who Wyatt meant.

"A vampire," Wyatt said, his tone making it clear he wasn't all keen on the idea. "Mom says he's good."

"That would be Angel," Isabel said. "He's a good guy to have at your back in a fight."

"If you say so," Wyatt said. "I'm still having trouble with the idea of 'good' demons."

"We don't have demons where I come from. So I guess it made it easier for me to accept the idea of good ones when I got here," she explained. "Of course it helped that Angel and Bel were never anything but nice to me."

"The Book of Shadows has pages and pages about evil demons," Wyatt said. "Nothing about good ones. Or vampires with souls. How weird is that?"

"They're both exceptions to the rule," Isabel said. "Both exceptional period." Except when Bel was possessed by the Source of all Evil and Angel was being a dumbass with his personal relationships.
