"I love you, too," the Source said, kissing Phoebe back while looking over her shoulder at his enemies, triumph in his eyes.

Phoebe kissed him again, and then stepped back. Before he could follow her, she put the crystal back in place.

"I'm sorry, baby. I'm so sorry."

"Phoebe, no! No!" the Source shouted.

Phoebe stepped back to stand between Piper and Paige. There were tears slipping from her eyes.

"I'm sorry."

"Phoebe, don't do this!" the Source cried.

"Cole made me promise to stop him and not let him kill anyone," Phoebe whispered. "It's what I have to do. He would want me to."

Piper held onto Phoebe's arm, supporting her. She glanced sadly at the Source, wondering if Bel was in there at all. Knowing he wouldn't want to live like this, she began to recite the spell.

"Prudence, Penelope, Patricia, Melinda..."

Flames appeared at the Source's feet. "Piper, stop!" he called out. He looked beseechingly at the others. "Someone, stop her!"

Phoebe flinched when she saw the flames, but she forced herself to say the words even as she felt herself breaking inside.

"Astrid, Helen, Laura and Grace..."

The Source looked out at Phoebe, and for a moment his eyes and voice seemed clearer. "I will always love you," he said softly.

Paige stood on Phoebe's other side, ready to offer support to her sister.

"Halliwell witches stand strong beside us."

Bel bowed his head, accepting the inevitable now. If one looked closely, they might think he looked relieved.

Phoebe was crying so hard now that she was having trouble speaking. However, she continued to say the words of the spell as she was supported by her two sisters.

"Vanquish this evil..."

Paige felt a tear slipping down her cheek as all three sisters recited the last line together.

"From time and space."

Bel cried out in pain as the flames consumed him, then exploded outwards, shaking the chamber.

There was nothing left of him except a scorch mark on the ground.

Phoebe cried out when the chamber shook and when she looked up, she saw that he was gone. She stumbled forward to the scorch mark... and then buried her afce in her hands.

"Cole."

Piper tearfully watched her sister start to break down. She felt helpless. All she wanted to do was protect Phoebe, to take her pain away.

Phoebe stood there, hoping that all of it had been a nightmare, that Cole was fine and they hadn't been forced to vanquish him. She looked up again and when she again saw the evidence of what they had just done, she broke down completely.

"Phoebe," Piper said hesitantly. She really wasn't sure what to say right now. Nothing she could say would be the right thing at the moment. Instead, she slowly walked over to her sister, wrapping her arms around her.

Paige didn't have any words either, but she walked over and hugged both of her sisters, figuring that knowing they were there was the best support they could offer at the moment.

Lana hesitated, wanting desperately to go over to Phoebe, but not wanting to intrude.

Piper spotted Lana and nodded at her, letting her know it was okay to intrude. She knew Phoebe could use the love and support from everyone who cares about her.

Lana ran to Phoebe and wrapped her arms around her. "I'm so sorry," she whispered. "I'm so sorry, my Sister-Friend."

Wilson stood quietly back, trying not to look at the spot where Bel had been. They had Phoebe and though he thought he'd seen a glimer of...relief on the Source's face, Wilson couldn't help feeling that Bel had been lost.

He made no move to interupt the family moment but slowly he began to look around. They couldn't stay here forever, eventually someone...something was going to come investigating the powerful magics being thrown around.

"Do we have an exit strategy?" Wilson asked softly, to no one in particular.

Anders hung back from the group a bit, looking stunned and a little sick. He wanted to offer his condolences, or say something useful, but he was a little too shellshocked to get the words out of his head and into some kind of coherent form.
