Suite 518/520, Wednesday morning

After the kids had gone back through the Vortex and Phoebe had fled back to their room, Bel and Anders had followed and tried to comfort her about the loss of the children. They were still alive somewhere, back where they belonged, with the parents who loved them. And who knew, there might be a way to see them again sometime. They could even end up coming to school at Fandom High someday.

Phoebe had cried herself to sleep, nestled between Bel and Anders. Hours later, Bel slowly came awake. He was spooned against Phoebe's back, her head was on Anders's shoulder, and Bel's arm was over them both. Wednesday, right? He didn't have class, and he didn't think Phoebe did, but he wasn't sure about Anders. Either way, he was perfectly content to stay like this all morning.

"No you won't," Phoebe said with assurance. "You like having us right here where you can get at us."

"Uh huh," agreed Anders. "Plus we're warm and comfy and we'd have to pout at you if you kicked us out of bed."

Look out, Bel, they're teaming up on you. Not dirty.

"True," Bel said. "But I can stretch out more alone." He made a point of stretching his leg over Phoebe's and prodding his foot against Anders.

Phoebe eyed him. "If you just want to stretch out I can go be comfy somewhere else. We have another bedroom and a couch." She smiled. "I get the pillows and blankets, though." Then she giggled. "I can always go stay with Lana for a few days?"

"Nooooo," Anders said, pouting and snuggling closer. "No going away, no taking pillows and blankets."

"No," Bel agreed. "And I'll hide your clothes to stop you."

Phoebe blinked at Cole. "You really would, wouldn't you?" Her question was asked as she snuggled inbetween them.

Hey, it made her heart feel a good that not only were they both adamant that she not leave -- but that Cole would go to the trouble of hiding all of her clothes to keep her there. She did have an awful lot of clothes.

Okay, and yes, it did lay her worries about her place in things with the two guys to rest, too. It was nice to know they both wanted her to stay.

"I'd help," Anders said, grinning fuzzily. "I totally would."

"I would," Cole said solemnly. "And Principal Zoe says you can't run naked through the halls, so you'd be trapped here in the room."

"Oh dear," she said seriously. "I guess I shouldn't try to leave then, huh?"

It was hard not to grin about this and she made sure not to point out that she could always call Lana or Marie to bring her extra clothes. Because what was the fun of using logic when Cole had seemed to put a great deal of thought into how he could make sure she stayed right here.

"No. I have a puppydog face, and I will use it," Anders said solemnly. "Do you really want to risk that?"

Bel snorted. "You think you can get anything with that pretty face, don't you?"

Phoebe poked him. "Like you with that pout?"

Anders snickered. "Yeah, it's not like you don't -- you totally just called me pretty."

He dissolved into a slightly hysterical gigglefit, but somehow managed to not stop snuggling.

"Not as pretty as me," Bel said, batting his eyes a little.

Phoebe looked from one to the other and in spite her massive sadness, she started giggling. "I'm in bed with two divas!"

"You know you love it," Anders said, his own gigglefit getting a little more out of control -- but he was glad to hear her laughing. "We're just so damn pretty. All of us."

Bel snickered, then reached over to thwap Anders.

Phoebe grinned and then poked him.

So naturally, Anders had to start tickling her. Of course.

Bel instinctively grabbed a pillow to use as an anti-tickling shield.

Phoebe made an "Eeep" sound and tried to get away from the tickling.

But of course, she was snuggled up between the two boys -- so Anders kept tickling her, and sneaked one hand over to start tickling Bel too.

Bel squirmed backward and tried to smack Anders with the pillow.

Alas, Phoebe was in the way of the pillow, and she pouted, trying to pull Cole back closer again.
