Pixie Cabin, Alcoves A3/A4

Moving was infinitely easier when you could shimmer. Bel gathered up a couple bags of stuff (mostly Phoebe's) and a carrier for the cats, then headed over to the Senior Cabin. He claimed A3 and A4 for him and Phoebe, and of course immediately set about dragging the bed from A4 to A3 and pushed it together with the bed originally in A3. It didn't leave much room in the rest of the alcove, but no way was he going to spend three weeks in a single bed.

[For la girlfriend, any other seniors in the building, or anyone who wants to poke their head in for that matter. Mother's Day is done! Almost. So I can breath again. Frakking flowers.]

"Good thing we decided to move our stuff before leaving for the weekend."

Cole nodded. "Just to get it out of the way. It'd be a pain if we had to do it when we got back Sunday, especially if it's late."

She moved into his arms and held onto him. "Good point. The last thing we're going to want to do is move."

"Especially if I have to start hot sweaty construction work in the morning," Cole grinned.

Anders, on the other hand, had been up for a couple of hours moving his stuff back and forth between the dorms and Salamander.

The whole single-bed prospect was making him grumpy, though, so as soon as everything he needed was tossed into his alcove he headed over to the seniors' cabin in search of Bel and Phoebe.

"You guys in there?" he called from the cabin's doorway.

"Gonna come watch me work?" He may have posed, just a little bit.

"Over here," Bel called from A3. "Come on in."

Anders ran a hand through his already tousled hair -- like it helped -- and leaned against the alcove wall. "I am so not happy about this cabins thing," he announced.

He really didn't have to say it out loud. The sulky expression on his face said it all.

"Anders and I have already planned to scope out a hill and bring a picnic lunch and binoculars," she grinned.

Tori had been up early and checked out the cabin, and had moved her things into the B section of the cabin.

Wondering who might be around, Tori moved to the A section doorway. "Anybody home?"

"Not thrilled, either."

"What, the tiny beds, the lack of real privacy, or the fact you're on the other side of the camp?" Bel said.

"Then I have incentive to look good," Cole said. "It should keep me in good shape."

Anders scowled more, his lower lip sticking out. "Yes," he said firmly. "Don't wanna be that far away from you guys."

"In here," Bel called from A3. He poked his head out and saw Tori. "Hey," he said. "Just moving in, too?"

"You're already in wonderful shape..." she purred at him, a glint in her eye.

"We'll figure something out..." She might be thinking about the empty cabin...

"Hey Bel." Tori smiled when she saw him. "Yep. Figure it's better to get it done now and not wait until later. Especially with the new students that continue to arrive."

Cole might've been just about to prove what shape he was in when they heard Anders at the door.

"Three weeks," Bel sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "We can survive, right?"

Bel nodded. "Yeah, and me and Phoebe and Anders are going away for the weekend, so we wanted to get it done with now rather than running around Sunday night."

"I'll survive," Anders grumbled, "but I feel sorry for everyone in my cabin because I really have no idea who's gonna have to put up with me being growly and frustrated."

"I hope you guys have fun." Tori grinned brightly. "Yeah, that wouldn't be fun trying to rush around on Sunday night."

Phoebe smiled a little. "It'll be okay, guys, really. We've been known to be very persistent when we want something."
