Bel sighed and looked around the mostly empty living room. They'd packed up everything and he'd shimmered most of it to storage, some of it to Piper and Veronica's apartment, where he and Phoebe would be staying for awhile until they found a place of their own. What was left was mostly bags they'd carry with them, and the cats, of course, who were being remarkably calm about the whole thing.

He'd changed so much when he had come to this place. He'd been sent to learn to live among humans, and it had worked far too well. Raynor had never expected Belthazor to learn to love and care again. No one had expected him to become the Source of All Evil, except, perhaps, the Seer. He'd turned his back on the Underworld, he'd died, he'd been brought back to life. Not bad for two years.

He thought about everybody who had already left before him -- Angel, Piper, Veronica, Lindsey, Blair, Alanna, Nadia, Cally, and Marie -- and the people he was leaving behind, like Lana, Isabel, Phale and Wilson. And Anders. That was the hardest one of all.

This sucked.

[ooc: door and post are open, of course. This will be Bel's last dorm post. Slight bit of OCD for Phoebe and Anders, who likely won't be able to tag back until afternoon and evening respectively due to work. I believe it's okay for teachers/townies to come to the room to see them off; please ping me if I'm wrong and we'll do a townie post set later in the day.

Phoebe nodded, and then hugged Lana tightly. "Remember what I told you last night."

"I know," she said. "I'll remember."

"I'm going to miss being able to just run down and knock on your door."

"Or randomly run into each other at Selkie Cove," Lana said miserably. "God, who's going to just know I need someone and show up?"

"Cole will bring me wherever and whenever you need me."

"And we'll write and call and stay in touch forever."

Phoebe nodded emphatically. "Of course. I dare anyone to try and put a stop to that."

"Well, it's not as good as living in the same building, but it's better than nothing."

"And I'll be back for Homecoming and you are welcome with us during breaks or holidays or any weekends."

Lana nodded. "Thank God Bel can shimmer," she said. "I may be needing to see you a lot."

"I know I'll be needing to see you a lot -- and Cole wants to make sure we do. He knows I'm afraid of losing people when I leave here."

"Yeah. It just... won't be the same without you."

"I don't know what I'm going to do without you close by, sister-friend." There were tears in Phoebe's eyes.

"I know," Lana said, rather teary herself. "I'm going to miss you so much."

"But you have to keep in touch!"

"Of course," Lana said. "You'll probably get sick of hearing from me," she teased.

"That will never happen!"

"I know," she said quietly.

Phoebe hugged her tightly again.

"Everyone's leaving," Lana said. "You, Marie, Jack... God, it's just not going to be the same at all."

Phoebe managed to hid her grimace at Jack's name, but she gave a sad smile about Marie. "I hate that I'm leaving."

"I wish I was going too," Lana admitted. "I wish I could go with you guys."

"I wish you were, too. I'd love having you as a roommate, Lana."

"As long as we had our own rooms. Could be a little awkward otherwise," Lana said lightly.

Phoebe giggled. "Of course. Besides, I don't think Cole and Anders or Jim are the types to share."
