Suite 518/520, Friday all day

Bel sighed and looked around the mostly empty living room. They'd packed up everything and he'd shimmered most of it to storage, some of it to Piper and Veronica's apartment, where he and Phoebe would be staying for awhile until they found a place of their own. What was left was mostly bags they'd carry with them, and the cats, of course, who were being remarkably calm about the whole thing.

He'd changed so much when he had come to this place. He'd been sent to learn to live among humans, and it had worked far too well. Raynor had never expected Belthazor to learn to love and care again. No one had expected him to become the Source of All Evil, except, perhaps, the Seer. He'd turned his back on the Underworld, he'd died, he'd been brought back to life. Not bad for two years.

He thought about everybody who had already left before him -- Angel, Piper, Veronica, Lindsey, Blair, Alanna, Nadia, Cally, and Marie -- and the people he was leaving behind, like Lana, Isabel, Phale and Wilson. And Anders. That was the hardest one of all.

This sucked.


[ooc: door and post are open, of course. This will be Bel's last dorm post. Slight bit of OCD for Phoebe and Anders, who likely won't be able to tag back until afternoon and evening respectively due to work. I believe it's okay for teachers/townies to come to the room to see them off; please ping me if I'm wrong and we'll do a townie post set later in the day.

Phoebe bit her lip and nodded. "Cole's not going to let me out of his sight after we leave here." She looked at Isabel. "Anders..."

"I've got that covered," Isabel promised. "Between Bridge and I, we'll look out for him."

"Thank you," she said softly. "It's hardest to leave him most of all and... hide the Ambrosia and Space Vodka from him, please?"

She nodded, "I think ice cream and a whole lot of hot fudge should be a pretty good substitute. He's supposed to come by my room later. If he doesn't, I'll go looking for him."

Phoebe gave Isabel a grateful look. "We refuse to say goodbye... it's going to be more of a 'see you later and you had better come visit, dammit' thing... our final one before we have to leave." She looked toward the kitchen. "I was worried about him being alone tonight."

"I've never been to San Francisco. So a visit would be fun," Isabel smiled. "Fog's not something I'm used to."

"He won't be. I promise."

"You know that you are welcome anytime, Isabel." She shook her head. "And again, thank you for everything... for being a friend... for believing Cole... in us... for not judging us when we both realized we loved Anders..." She flushed. "For not killing me when I was possessed."

"If you were happy who was I to judge?" she asked. "It wasn't you. So don't worry." And at the time Isabel was much angrier at what Lana had done to Jack and Cedric.

"We've all been very happy since we told each other how we felt." She shook her head. "I didn't like finding out that someone had full control of my body and mind and I wasn't able to get rid of them."

"Good for you. Good for all of you," Isabel nodded. "I can't even imagine how that felt. I'm just glad I was able to help."

She smiled and went to give Phoebe a hug. "I'm going to miss you guys."

Phoebe hugged her. "I'm going to miss you, too. But, we'll be back for Homecoming... and you have to come visit."

"I will," Isabel promised. "And you'll have to spare Bel for a dance then. But for now? I'll get out of your hair. Let you have this last little bit of time."

"For you? Of course." She gave Isabel a sad smile. "Thanks... and you had better write or call, 'kay?"

"I will," she said, returning the smile, then headed over to remind Anders of where he was supposed to be tonight.
