Bel sighed and looked around the mostly empty living room. They'd packed up everything and he'd shimmered most of it to storage, some of it to Piper and Veronica's apartment, where he and Phoebe would be staying for awhile until they found a place of their own. What was left was mostly bags they'd carry with them, and the cats, of course, who were being remarkably calm about the whole thing.

He'd changed so much when he had come to this place. He'd been sent to learn to live among humans, and it had worked far too well. Raynor had never expected Belthazor to learn to love and care again. No one had expected him to become the Source of All Evil, except, perhaps, the Seer. He'd turned his back on the Underworld, he'd died, he'd been brought back to life. Not bad for two years.

He thought about everybody who had already left before him -- Angel, Piper, Veronica, Lindsey, Blair, Alanna, Nadia, Cally, and Marie -- and the people he was leaving behind, like Lana, Isabel, Phale and Wilson. And Anders. That was the hardest one of all.

This sucked.

[ooc: door and post are open, of course. This will be Bel's last dorm post. Slight bit of OCD for Phoebe and Anders, who likely won't be able to tag back until afternoon and evening respectively due to work. I believe it's okay for teachers/townies to come to the room to see them off; please ping me if I'm wrong and we'll do a townie post set later in the day.

Phoebe was sitting with Seraphim in her lap and when she saw Chris, she gave a faint smile. "Hey."

"Hey," Chris smiled back. "So you guys are going to stay with mom and her roommate for a little while?"

Phoebe nodded. "Yeah, they wouldn't let us say no. We'll stay with them until we find our own place."

"I think it's good that you and Mom and will be together," Chris said. "Safer for both of you."

Phoebe smiled a little. "It's been hard not being close to her. We've never been separated like this before. I'll be going to Hearst to study Psychology." She tilted her head. "I expect my two favorite nephews to come and see me often."

"I'm just an orb away," Chris said with a smile.

"I know. It doesn't mean I like leaving you guys, though."

"Me and Wyatt are tough," Chris said wryly. "We'll be okay. Besides, we've still got Aunt Prue to keep us in line."

"And she is much with the ass-kicking if you piss her off." Phoebe grinned. "I know you guys can take care of yourselves, but you're also family."

"Believe me, Aunt Phoebe," Chris said, reaching out to hug her. "Wyatt and I are not going to miss a chance to spend time with you guys now that we have it."

Phoebe hugged him tightly. "I'm going to hold you to that, Chris."

"Don't let your boyfriend get you into any trouble, okay?"

Yeah, he was fully expecting to get smacked for that.

Phoebe smacked him lightly and then grinned. "Which one are you referring to?"

He so deserved that.

Chris grimaced. "Either one of them."

Phoebe beamed innocently. "I think that they are more concerned with keeping me safe... especially Cole."

"Yeah, well... if they fall down on the job, you call me and Wyatt," Chris said. "We want you safe, too."

"If anything happens, you know you guys are the first ones I'll call."

"We better be," Chris said, hugging her again. "It looks like you're having a pretty busy day, so I'll leave you to it," he added. "I love you, Aunt Phoebe. Good luck in California."

"I love you, too, Chris... and I'll try." She hugged him. "If I don't see Wyatt... tell him goodbye for me?"

"I'll do you one better," Chris said. "I'll go kick his ass and make damned sure he stops by to say goodbye."

"I like your plan better," she said with a slight smile.
