Tuesday, Feb 21
I was lying in bed with someone curled behind me. It must've been Phoebe because it was a familiar presence, but I didn't see her face. It was a top bunk with a red curtain around it. I got the feeling that someone was outside so I pulled the curtain open a little. There was a dark figure standing by the bed. I tried to call out, but I couldn't talk. I couldn't move. The figure moved toward me, and then I woke up.


Thursday, Feb 23
I was somewhere dark, like I was floating in space. There was no light anywhere so I didn't know where to go. Finally I saw a faint light far away and started to swim towards it. I felt something grab me and try to stop me, but I kept going toward the light. When I got close the light reached out with tendrils and grabbed me, trying to pull me free of whatever was holding me back. I felt like I was being torn in two. I don't remember what happened after that.


Saturday, Feb 25
I was running from something, but I don't remember what it was. Then the ground disappeared. It wasn't like a cliff or something -- the ground was just gone. I started falling. It felt like I was falling forever. Then I hit something soft and stopped falling. It was a wing with red feathers. I thought I was safe, but then the wing caught fire and I started to burn. I woke up before I burned to death.

South Attic [After Period 6]

Cole walked in silence with Phoebe after leaving class. He didn't relish starting a fight with her, not so soon after last night, but there were a few things he had to set straight, and that had been made painfully clear after his conversation with Kiki.
