The Attic, late Saturday afternoon

demonbelthazorVeronica was laying on the couch in the common area of the attic. She was exhuasted from the busy night at Caritas last night.
She had the door propped open a couple of inches. She'd called Lilly and asked her to stop by with her key to Weevil's place.
Passing through the attic, Bel saw Veronica through the open door. He paused, considering, and was unable to resist the opportunity to mess with her. He walked up to the door and knocked on the frame. ( "Veronica," he said solemnly. )
