Suite 518/520, Sunday late afternoon/evening

Bel returned to his room after talking to Phale and made a couple phone calls. He didn't like the idea of bringing people with him into the Underworld, but he didn't want Phoebe to kill him, either. Hopefully everything would go smoothly and he could find his father's soul and finally lay him to rest.

He couldn't help but think of Schrodinger's offer from last night during his visit to the common room. Get his powers back? Tempting, oh so very tempting.

In the meantime, there were finals to study for. Woe.

"That's one way to impress the teacher," Cameron chuckled.

"Might get him over the disappointment of not having me for the other students to practice on," Bel added.

Cameron frowned a bit. "I hope that's not the case."

Bel shrugged. "The final was to trap a demon, and I'm the only demon...er, was the only demon...in the class," he said. "So maybe I was a little paranoid."

Cameron blinked. "He'd just use Danger Shop, no? We don't have two evil teachers?"

"I guess so," Bel said. "But he was probably tempted. He knows a word that makes me...made me go into demon form, and he wasn't afraid to use it on me." He shrugged again. "I mean, he wasn't trying to kill me or anything, but the whole demon thing made him twitchy about me."

"That's..." Cameron frowned. "I'm scared of sounding like Blair."

"If you hug any of the demons while we're in the Underworld I'm telling Veronica," Bel dead-panned.

Cameron laughed. "I think that might blow our cover."

Bel rubbed the back of his neck. "I am so not mentioning this trip to Blair. He'd want to come along, and it would just be all sorts of bad."

"Blair is not really made to play demon," Cameron agreed.

Bel nodded. "Demons do not bounce."

"No, it's not particularly how I've ever envisioned them either," Cameron sighed.

"I gotta remember to tell Phoebe and Isabel to dress trashy," Bel mused. "Think they're gonna kill me?"

"And suddenly I'm even more grateful Veronica isn't coming along," Cameron blurted out.

"I don't know, she's got a few outfits for the job," Bel said without thinking.

"What?" Cameron stared at Bel.

"Err...nothing, forget I said anything?" Bel said hopefully.

"Yeah sorry, you just mentioned my girlfriend having trashy outfits. It's kind of hard to ignore," Cameron said, crossing his arms and waiting for more.

"Well, it was kind of hard not to notice what she had on when she was giving me a lap dance at the time," Bel said.

Cameron's eyebrows were nearly touching his hair. "When and why did she give you a lap dance?"

Bel was just digging himself deeper. "It was last year, way before you two!" he said. "She was gremlin bit, she wasn't in her right mind."

"And you let her?" Cameron demanded, apparently deciding that seeing how he just found this out, Bel was semi responsible for the entire thing.
