Suite 518/520, Thursday morning

At some point late last night, Bel had staggered back to his room, crawled into bed, and collapsed. Come morning his head was still spinning just a little, and he was disappointed to see Phoebe had snuck off to class. He was also confused -- what had gotten into him last night? He didn't giggle. Okay, maybe when Phoebe was tickling him, but definitely not like he had been last night. One thing he was sure of was that there was no such thing as a demonic giggling power that he could've absorbed in the Wastelands. That was ridiculous.

There were other reasons he was feeling confused (and somewhat excited) this morning, but he didn't know that yet. So for now he decided to stay in bed until he had good reason to get out of it. Maybe he could train the cats to bring him food.

Now Bel started to feel guilty. "Um, if you want to stick around we can . . . I don't know, watch a movie or something."

"What, trying to get one up on your nephew there even though it was OMG NOT A DATE? Nah, it's okay," Anders said, rubbing at the back of his neck. "I don't wanna interrupt. Like, more than I already have, I mean."

Phoebe blushed. "Anders... I told you, you are always welcome here. Not dirty, omg!"

"Aw, why not? Yeah, but . . ." Anders protested. "There's appropriate times for that, and stuff! It's just the inappropriate ones are more fun."

"Okay," Bel said, in part relieved Anders had turned the offer down. "I guess we'll catch you later then."

"Yeah," agreed Anders, not sure whether he was relieved himself. "I think I might go catch up on all that sleep I haven't been getting."

"You too," Anders replied, leaning over to give her a hug, at least. "Um, eventually."

"Any time," Anders told her. He glanced very quickly, guiltily, toward Bel. "So have fun, okay?" he said, and slipped out into the hallway again.

Cole had twitched at the hug, but now he turned back to Phoebe. "So, where were we?" he said.

Phoebe went to him and hugged him to her, letting her robe open a bit.

"I believe we were exploring..."
