Presents for Phoebe
Dec. 21st, 2005 01:05 amCole was in a panic. He'd gotten presents for Phoebe, the promise ring and two books, Everyday Magic: Basic Ingredients, Volume One and Everyday Magic: Basic Ingredients, Volume Two. Then she'd gone and gotten him a whole bunch of Christmas presents. Getting presents was weird enough. Giving them? Even weirder.
And for the most part, when it came to presents, he hadn't the faintest clue What Girls Wanted.
Pretty and shiny seemed to work. And they liked things that smelled pretty, right? And massage oil would be fun for both of them. And, well, so would this.
So he'd spent the afternoon shopping. Then he carefully wrapped the presents, but carefully for Cole meant not getting the kittens stuck to the packages, then placed them about the room for her to find when she woke up in the morning, except the ring, which was tucked in her suitcase.
