Stalking Walking to the Hotel....

With only one class on Fridays, Belthazor decided to head into town after Celtic Studies. He wanted to stalk Phoebe talk to Crowley about just what was going on with Phoebe staying at the hotel.

This much snow was a new experience for him. He idly wondered just how cold it was going to get as he headed to the hotel.

He rights himself, his form returning to his favorite. Licking his lips, he grins. "Smart enough to know that...maybe you're not a complete waste."

Bel felt defeated. "If she's so desperate to not see me that she's come to you for protection and signed herself over to you," he said, "then I guess there's not much I can do."

"No, pet. There isn't." With a smug grin, he closes the distance. "Would you like her heart back on day?"

He nodded. "Yes...more than anything."

"I'll send it to you in a box when I pull it out her throat."

His grin doesn't fade, amused by his little joke he knows will only provoke the boy more.

His anger flared again, driving away the haze of misery. "Don't you fucking dare," he growled, fire sparking unbidden in his fingers. "If you hurt her I will kill you. I will find a way, I promise you."

"You'll try and you'll fail, Belthazor. Take your parlor tricks away. You know they don't work on me. I have no desire for a you shaped crater in my lobby. Be gone..."He waves him off dismissively.

"Don't hurt her," Bel said. "I don't know what or why she signed something with you, but don't hurt her. Please."

"I like how you beg, boy. It would be so much more effective on your knees, however. How badly do you want her to live?"

"I'll do anything," Bel said through clenched teeth.

"Then kneel, Belthazor. Kneel and beg for her life."

Bel stiffened, but sank to one knee. He was accustomed to kneeling before a superior power, but it didn't mean he liked it. "Please," he said. "Don't hurt her."

Wings pull in and a cruel grin curls the corners of his mouth. "Agreed, I won't hurt the witch. You've already done that for me." A rasping hiss of a laugh fills the lobby, "I imagine I should thank you, perhaps even consider you my protoge."

Bel twitched, but didn't take the bait. "I thought you already considered me your pet project," he said quietly.
