Cole woke before Phoebe for a change. He quietly got dressed then headed out to the kitchen to make coffee. Eyeing the stove warily, he decided to attempt to make pancakes to surprise Phoebe.

Fifteen minutes later he had some lumpy pancakes on the griddle that were anything but round. And flour all over the counter and himself.

In theory, the pancakes were edible. In theory.

"I was looking for something important!" She countered. "But... Cole... Paige was with Crowley. Her hands were all over him."

"What were you looking for?" Cole asked. "And...Paige? Is she completely out of her mind?"

"I don't know, but she may be," she said sadly, shaking her head. "Has she learned nothing from my mistake... or from her own where others are concerned?"

"She's an idiot, that's what she is," Cole groaned. "And do we have another round of her boyfriend throwing things down the stairs to look forward to?"

"I don't know what Sawyer might do when he finds out, Cole," she worried her lip. "He's a bit... unstable."

"Idiot or no, she's your sister," Cole grumbled. "If he tries anything, he'll deal with me."
