Koala Cabin, Alcove A3, Early Morning

Bel was tired. And sore.

Last night, he'd been awaken from a sound sleep by John Connor screaming on the other side of the cabin. He'd gone over to see what the hell was going on, and John had attacked him. Of course he'd defended himself. But then when John attacked Lana and then Maia, he'd become enraged, lost control over his temper, and come close to killing John. If John had hurt Phoebe, he probably would have killed him.

So he was decidedly emo about how easy it was to slip into demon form. He was stiff and sore. And he was pissy about getting detention for defending himself and the girls.

Staying in bed today seemed a good idea.

"Hi Phoebe," Pippi greeted her. "I hope I didn't wake you up? I heard on the radio that something happened and I wanted to make sure everybody was okay."

"No, I was already awake," she assured her friend. "Lana and Maia are in the clinic. Cole's a bit bruised... I'm... well mostly physically okay. Just exhausted, worried and scared."

"Oh dear." Pippi frowned, "What happened can I ask?"

Phoebe smiled slightly. "You can always ask, Pippi. John went crazy and attacked Cole and then lana and maia caught hurt... but I don't think John would ever intentionally hurt us. I think he had a bad nightmare and then he didn't see any of us as we really were." She sighed. "He especially didn't see Cole for who he is because he tried to keep me away from Cole." She looked at Pippi. "He felt so scared... and he was ranting about robots and cyborgs..."

Pippi thought about that for a moment. She roughly remembered John showing up at the clinic for Sydney after the whole debacle with the robots in shop class. But he hadn't been in the class when it happened.

"... That must have been one hum dinger of a nightmare."

Phoebe nodded. "It seemed to be and he woke up screaming... which is what woke all of us up and caused Cole to go over there and make sure everyone was okay."

Pippi is slightly confused, Bel is strong enough that he should have been able to restrain John no problem.

"How did Lana and Maia get mixed up in it then?"

She sighed softly. "John threw Lana towards the common room and her head hit the door frame. Maia got kicked to the floor when John went to attack Cole again."

"... And how's John?"

Phoebe drew a hand over her face. "I don't know yet. He disappeared. I plan to go look for him after I'm a bit more awake."

Pippi nodded and put a hand on Phoebe's shoulder. Phoebe has said it was fine, but Pippi got a sense she had interrupted something.

"I'll let you get back to bed then. I have to get to my workshop. Let me know if you need anything, kay?"

Phoebe smiled at her, and nodded. "I'm going to see if I can rest a little more before I go to my DaDa workshop this morning. And yes, I will, promise."
