Bel shimmered with Blair into the South Attic's living room. "Make yourself at home," he growled, looking around to see if Phoebe was there. He didn't hear her at the moment.

"So, what do I need to do?" he asked.

After Yogalites and getting some lucnh, Phoebe came back to the attic, intending on spending some quiet time with Cole. He may be stuck in his scarier demon form right now, but he was still Cole, still her soulmate, and she wanted to spend time with him.

She entered the attic quietly, and smiled in surprise to see Blair there. When she caught some of the words that were being said, she nodded to herself and sat on the floor against the wall so she didn't disturb them.

Blair was the most happy and relaxed guy she had ever known. If anyone could help Cole relax, it would be Blair.

Cole looked around and saw Phoebe watching. "I'm human again!" he said, smiling at her.

Phoebe grinned and got to her feet to come hug him.

"Yes, yes you are."

"Miss me?" Cole said, hugging her back.

Phoebe kissed him.

"You were still here, but I missed seeeing you like this, too."

"I missed holding you," Cole said.

"I missed being held."

"Hopefully whatever it was...won't happen again," Cole said.

"Do you know what caused the stress that caused it?"

She so owed Blair for helping Cole.

"I've had a lot on my mind, I guess," Cole said. "And I was so afraid that I couldn't control the demon in me that it started to control me instead."

"Oh sweetheart," She kissed him gently and then hugged him tightly. "It doesn't."

"I'm never going to be human," Cole said. "There's always going to be the demon inside me. I can't repress it completely."

"No one has asked you to, love."

[demonbelthazor]

"But I have to, to be good," Cole said. "Don't I?"

Ah... so that was the worry.

Phoebe tugged him to the couch and sat down with him.

"Cole, you are half demon and trying to suppress that part of you is going to cause you nothing but pain and stress. Just because you are good doesn't mean that you have to seal off half of who you are. Look what trying to do that did to you. If you don't shift sometimes and get all growly... well... we've seen what will happen. Embracing your demon half and making it a part of you doesn't mean that you should demon out and attack or kill."
