After Bridge's group had left the lobby, Bel gathered up everyone who remained and any stragglers who walked in late. "Okay, we're going to follow light number two," he said. "Let me just tell everyone that Marie's probably gonna be scared, so don't push her. Don't try to grab her. Really, do not touch her. We just find her and talk to her and convince her everything is okay, got it? If she runs, we follow, but we don't try to scare her anymore than she already is."


[ooc: Note - this post starts in dorms, goes into town, and winds back to the camp . . . which is why it's in Bel's LJ. Wait for OCD!]

"Are they mad?" Marie asked, her voice still soft.

"No," he sighed and sat down on the ground in the doorway so she couldn't pass past him. "They're worried. I doubt they will stop looking for you any time soon."

"Do you know if Jamie's okay?" Marie asked.

He shook his head. "No, but Belthazor possibly does. He's outside if you want to ask him."

Marie hesitated for a few moments before sliding off the bed. "Okay," she said. "I need to know if he's all right."

She paused a few feet away from Zuko, not wanting to get too close.

Zuko pushed to his feet, but he did notice her hesitation to come close. "You can always wrap a sheet around you," he said as he stepped back.

Despite being mostly covered, Marie thought that seemed like a good idea and grabbed the top sheet from Jamie's bed, wrapping it around her so she hardly exposed any skin.

She still waited for Zuko to move out of the cabin first.

As she wasn't moving, Zuko wordlessly headed for the door he had come in through and moved out.
