demonbelthazorBel was having a bad weekend. He groaned a little as he shifted position in bed and alll the injuries of the past few days made themselves known.
First his foster father had shown up after being sent an invite from the school because Bel had never bothered to change him as the guardian on record. Raynor had not been happy about being deceived about Bel's "death" and had fully intended to drag Bel back to the Underworld -- and after Raynor had proved his strength was superior, Bel has submitted. Fortunately, Phale and Wilson had intervened, and Raynor left without his prize. But he'd be back.
Then yesterday -- first he'd seen Zuko arguing with his sister, then Marie walk off with her. After finding Zuko, he'd gone off in search of Marie, interrupting a fight between Zuko and his sister. He'd taken a couple good blasts of fire and lightning and managed to break some ribs. Wilson had patched him up (again) but it hurt like hell.
Then he'd gone to Caritas for a drink and accidentally let slip to Isabel's brother that everyone knew she was an alien. Oops.
Now Phoebe wanted him to meet her oldest sister. Yeah, that was going to go over well.
Maybe he could just hide in bed all day. Or sneak out. Yes, that would work. He had to go by the clinic anyway to check on Marie and Zuko. Last thing he wanted to do was sit here and dwell on just how screwed he was.
