Bel didn't feel up to a noisy common room, so he retreated to his room. Distracting himself only worked so far, and then the crush of his current situation came back. He should be out hunting, trying to find the witch Raynor wanted, but he still couldn't bring himself to do it.

So for now Strifenova Celestial would do instead.

"Oh, thanks, that's just what I wanted to use my one phone call for," Anders snapped. "Frakking tease."

"What was that?" Bel said. "So, you've got one phone call, and you call me. What are you hoping for here?"

"Nothing, nothing!" Not that Anders wasn't mouthing "frakking tease" with his hand over the receiver again or anything. "I don't know! Can't you bail me out or something?"

Bel snickered. "I love it when you beg. So what's in it for me?"

"Anything you want at this point," Anders said desperately. "I think Parker's going to kill me any minute."

"Parker's there, too?" Bel said. "Oh, this I gotta see."

"She is so going to kill me even more for telling you this, isn't she?" groaned Anders. "Bad enough I'm gonna have to literally watch my ass all night, but I have to watch out for her too? Dude, please. You gotta get me out of here."

"What's your bail set at?" Bel asked. "I don't exactly have a lot of cash here. Or are you looking for a jailbreak?"

"I don't have it, but I can shimmer in there and save your ass for myself," Bel said.
