After the Dr. Kairo and Penn & Teller shows they'd had to go to to fulfill the academic requirements for the trip, Bel waited outside the Tangiers main entrance for Anders, Blair, and Dean to join him. He was finishing a cigarette and checked his pockets for the tickets to tonight's show at the Stratosphere: "Bite," "an erotic and sensual topless review based on deliciously evil vampires with a simple story line of sin, sex and seduction." No way he could pass that up while they were there. He'd told Dean the truth about the show, but he kept it a surprise for Anders and certainly hadn't told Blair about it, claiming they were going to investigate a local cult of vampires.

Bel snickered to himself. This was going to be fun.

Dean dodged and tossed the last of his holy water at the new vampire, looking around wildly for anything he could use as a weapon. Spotting a broom lying in the wings, he ran for it, grabbing it and smashing it against the floor until it broke. This left him with a makeshift stake.

Then he looked around to see which vampire needed killing the most.

Blame the adrenaline, or maybe the pheromones, but Anders was having absolutely no problem whatsoever with the fact that the vampire dancer behind him had sunk her fangs just deep enough into his neck now to break the skin. And he was certainly in no mood to move away.

"So about that whole getting me off thing . . ." he muttered happily.

"Just relax," the vampire murmured, licking at the blood that was starting to trickle from his neck. She smiled against his skin, her arms tight around him as she started to sink her fangs in deeper.

"I was just kidding about the enthrall thing," Dean muttered under his breath, going to get the vampire off Ander before he became vampire chow.

Fortunately the distraction seemed to be working both ways, allowing Dean to get close enough to thrust his makeshift stake at her heart from behind.

Enthralled or not, even Anders couldn't miss out on the sudden lack of contact, or hands running over his body. He turned and blinked in consternation when he saw Dean there.

"Aw, man, what'd you -- oh."

Look, he wasn't entirely oblivious all the time. Then the significance of Bel being chained up, and Blair still in the clutches of another vampire, sank in.

"Oh . . . frak."

Not far away, a blonde vampire was very firmly wrapped around Blair. His hair was proving most bothersome to her as she kept trying to brush it out of the way to get a clear spot on his neck to sink her fangs into.

"Dude...first off, that tickles! Secondly, why does everyone just assume I'm a virgin." Blair frowned and tried to wrench out of the vampire's grasp unsuccessfully, eventually just turning his head enough to face her.

"That's really offensive, man. That'd be like me looking at you and saying 'oh, she's just a dumb blonde slutty cheerleader'. Which is probably not what you're like at all. You could be very shy and smart, or have a husband or be a nun or maybe you work here in order to save up money to put yourself through veterinary school so you can save wee puppies and kitties!"

The vampire drew back her head and looked at Blair in confusion. So not the reaction she was expecting.

Blair gave as much of a bounce as he could while still being held and grinned. "It's the puppy thing, isn't it? I thought you looked like a puppy person."

"Well, actually, I was thinking other stuff when I saw you but I'm sure I would have come up with the puppy thing eventually. After a while. Maybe after you put on a shirt."

"I eat puppies!" the vampire snarled.

"..." Blair blinked. "Doesn't the fur get stuck in your teeth?"

The vampire laughed. "You're cute," she said. "Maybe I'll keep you around for awhile. But right now I'm hungry." She jumped at Blair, fangs bared.

"Oh, the hell you do." Anders hadn't exactly been hoping for this kind of cold shower, but now that he'd gotten it there was no point in just standing around and oh, say, letting people get EATEN.

Hoping he wouldn't hear it for unnecessary violence later on, he lowered a shoulder and charged, hoping to knock the vampire out of the way.

. . . the topless thing was distracting, but not that distracting.

The vampire was knocked off her feet, but quickly sprang back up. "Wait your turn," she growled.

"Had mine," Anders told her, wiping blood from his neck. "You got this one, Winchester? I'm gonna go see about Bel over there," he called, sprinting toward where a chained-up Bel was still getting hungry looks from two more 'dancers.'

Blair had stumbled when Anders had knocked away the vampire and he had just gotten to his feet, rubbing his knee. He looked between the vampire and Dean for a moment.

"Um...I don't suppose either one of you are up for solving this with hugs?"

"Hug this," the vampire snapped, making a rush for Blair, hoping to get him between her and Dean and his rather deadly looking makeshift stake.

Dean was closer to Blair and shoved him out of the way. The vampire was still diving forward -- momentum was such a wonderful thing sometimes -- and Dean simply held his makeshift stake out in front of him.

The vampire ran straight into the stake. She looked up at Dean and gasped, "Bitch," before exploding in a cloud of dust.

Bel? Still enjoying himself.

Anders?

Not at all distracted by the view as he reached the spot where Bel was tied up.

At least, not distracted enough that he didn't think to splash one of the two vampires with some of the whiskey from the bottle he'd bought earlier just before tackling her and setting her on fire with his lighter.

This smoking habit might kill him someday, but at least for the time being it was coming in handy.

Bel wasn't completely out of it not to notice what Anders was doing. The reason why may not have yet occured to him, however. "What are you doing?" he hissed, sad he had lost one of his neck nibblers. Then he saw her burst into flames and explode into dust.

"..."

"Oh."

The remaining vampire wailed as her companion was destroyed. "You're going to pay for that!" she snarled at Anders, lunging at him.

Anders had managed to fish his ticket stub out of his pocket along with his lighter, and waved it at her. "Um, hello, have you seen what they charge for admission?" he asked as he dove at her.

The vampire tumbled to the ground, rolling with Anders as she clawed at him and snapped at his neck.
