Not at all distracted by the view as he reached the spot where Bel was tied up.

At least, not distracted enough that he didn't think to splash one of the two vampires with some of the whiskey from the bottle he'd bought earlier just before tackling her and setting her on fire with his lighter.

This smoking habit might kill him someday, but at least for the time being it was coming in handy.

Bel wasn't completely out of it not to notice what Anders was doing. The reason why may not have yet occured to him, however. "What are you doing?" he hissed, sad he had lost one of his neck nibblers. Then he saw her burst into flames and explode into dust.

"Oh."

The remaining vampire wailed as her companion was destroyed. "You're going to pay for that!" she snarled at Anders, lunging at him.

Anders had managed to fish his ticket stub out of his pocket along with his lighter, and waved it at her. "Um, hello, have you seen what they charge for admission?" he asked as he dove at her.

The vampire tumbled to the ground, rolling with Anders as she clawed at him and snapped at his neck.

Anders twisted just out of the way and flicked the Zippo open again. "Sorry," he told her as he spun the flint wheel and tried to catch the hem of whatever clothing she was wearing, "but I don't think dying was part of the ticket price."

Too bad the vampires were all wearing flimsy highly flammable material. The vampire's outfit lit up immediately, and she shrieked in pain before turning to dust.

Bel coughed.

"Little help here?" he said.

He would've facepalmed if his arms weren't still chained up over his head.

"I don't know," Anders drawled, and lit up a cigarette. What, you thought he wasn't going to take this opportunity to ~~ogle~~ ~~admire~~ gloat a little? "It's a good look on you. Maybe I should just leave you there for a little while."

"Besides," Dean said, walking over and looking at the claw marks on his arm, "I thought nothing could get the better of you demon types." He smirked. "You left out the part about unless they have fangs."

"Serves you right, man" Blair came over, still rubbing his knee and gave Bel a glare. "Investigating a cult, my ass."

"I didn't know they were real vampires!" Bel protested, flailing as much as he could. "It's just a Vegas show!"

Dean snorted. "What -- the fact that they hung you from the ceiling and was treating you like a bloodsucking buffet didn't clue you in any?"

"Just get me down!" Bel said sheepishly. "Please?"

"Dude," Anders said as he reached up and started to work on the ropes, "you so owe us for this."

Not enjoying the view, nope.

When Bel's arms were finally freed he rubbed his wrists then swiped his finger through the blood on his neck. Yanking his shirt back on, he said, "So, uh, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Right?"

"Dude, this was almost what dies in Vegas, stays in Vegas," Dean pointed out. "You so are not ever choosing the entertainment again."

"They wouldn't have killed me," Bel protested. "I totally would've realized something was wrong in a few minutes."

"Sure you would," Dean said, his tone making it clear he believed the opposite. "Maybe you should do everyone a favour and just buy Phoebe some fake fangs."

Bel turned bright red. Or was it a trick of the light? "Yeah, anyway," he coughed. "Guess we should get out of here, right?"

"I don't know about you guys, but I'm all in favor of finding a bar," Anders said, still dabbing at the blood on his neck.

"I know a place," Bel started to say.

"Yeah and that's as far as that sentence is going to get," Dean broke in. "Ever."
