OOC: About Belthazor

The last summary I wrote is here. Since then, Bel was rediscovered as alive by the Underworld, forced to work for them again or his father would be destroyed, and ultimately turned human due to a power-stripping potion created by Piper and used by Marty.
And then the fun began. I'm running a modified Source of All Evil arc pulled from Charmed canon (such as it is -- I'm freely ignoring some season 8 mentions of the Source because even I can't fanwank them into making sense. WTF, show, WTF?). The Seer (v1.0, not-Cordy version) tricked Bel into becoming possessed by the powers of the Source. The Source is the ruler of the Charmed Underworld, and is more of a mantle of power than a physical being. It moves from host to host as necessary, and it seized on the void created in Bel when his demon half was killed as a way to possess him.
The Source absorbs the personality of its host, so he retains Bel's basic wants and needs, as well as his memories. Bel's soul is still there inside him, powerless to stop the Source, but able to influence him on occasion.
The Source is a powerful sorceror and has among his powers the ability to teleport (in flames, SHUT UP), throw fireballs and lightning bolts, prokinesis, shapeshifting, telekinesis, summoning other demons, and mind control. He can cloak himself, so any attempt to read his mind/read his aura/etc will be blocked. If your character can sense evil or demons in some way, we'll talk.
He's already merrily being evil (corrupting Phoebe, toying with Anders, putting Dr. Wilson in a coma, and being a dick in general to some people), and there are more incidents planned before the truth comes out. However, there's always room for more mischief, so feel free to ping me here, on AIM, or by email if you have an idea for the Source screwing with your character (with the stipulation that you can't know Bel's behind it until it is revealed that he's the Source). On the surface he's behaving himself (mostly) until he can perform the dark rituals that will fully vest him in his power.

Date: 2007-01-03 10:43 pm (UTC)...You know what would happen if Schrodinger were ever to find out about Steerpike's desire for power, right?

Date: 2007-01-03 10:49 pm (UTC)I have this mental image of Schrodinger and Steerpike attempting to manipulate each other subtly and evilly . . . and getting absolutely nowhere.

I was actually thinking that Schrodinger would offer Steerpike an offer of vampirism, but that does sound more fun.
