Pangolin Cabin, Wednesday morning [NFB]

After calling Marty, Bel returned to the Pangolin cabin to see how Angela had fared last night. The cabins were insulated, of course, but it couldn't have been a comfortable night between the outside chill and lack of blankets.

He was wearing Marty's face again when he blazed into the cabin.

"This is fun to you?" Angela said, disgusted, pulling her hand back as if it burned her -- what was she going to fight him? "Please. Just let me go. Please."

Bel shook his head. "Sorry, I can't do that. Well, I'm really not sorry, but how about this? I'll give you a fighting chance." He tossed the athame across the room. "Go get it," he said.

Angela gave him a look of utter disgust, then realized this might be a chance. She turned and ran for the blade.

Bel had been waiting to sense someone coming into the cabin area so that he could time this perfectly. He knew his expected guest was here now, and once Angela's back was turned, he dropped the wards on the cabin and flamed out of the cabin.

After getting the mysterious message, Marty had only stopped briefly to pick up one of his 9mm at the weapons locker before racing over to the cabins.

Just in case someone was trying to ambush him he entered the room quietly.

"Angela?"
