Suite 518/520, Saturday night - NFB

Cole shimmered into their room with Phoebe in his arms. He wasn't sure what she had done to get him out of the Wastelands, but that wasn't important right now. What was important was that he was alive. And with Phoebe.


[ooc: NFB and locked to future_visions. May get NWS for obvious reasons, but not 'til later since half of the reunited couple is going to sleep. ;) ]

Phoebe was torn between just looking at Cole and clinging tightly to him. She was still trying to process the fact that the plan had worked and he was back with her.

"I thought I had lostyou," she finally said, holding onto him tightly.

"What did . . . what did you do?" Cole said, still bewildered.

Phoebe looked up into his face. "The first time, after I heard you calling for me, I did a 'Take Me to My Heart' spell. When I got attacked and started screaming that time, Wyatt did the reversal spell to bring me back. Knowing that you were there and still alive, I couldn't just leave you. So, I started talking to people and they volunteered to help me rescue you. I re-wrote the spell so it could take all of us to the Wastelands to fight for you. Once there, I did a soul-binding spell to make sure that if Wyatt and Chris thought I was in danger and they called us back, the spell would bring you with me."

"Am I really alive?" Cole said. "This isn't just some sort of dream?"

Phoebe shook her head. "You're really alive, soulmate," she assured him. She placed his hand over her heart. "Does this feel like a dream, love?"

He kept his hand over her heart, closing his eyes and letting himself just feel her heartbeat. "I never thought I'd hold you again . . . I shouldn't be here, I should be dead."

"No, Cole, you should be here. You should be alive." Phoebe's voice was soft, but there were tears in her eyes. "You didn't belong in the Wastelands. You belong here... with me."

"After the things I did, how can I face anyone?" Cole said, his voice filled with anguish. "I hurt so many people."

"You can face everyone because they all know that it wasn't you that did everything. Sweetheart, James and Anders made me realize that when they came with the others into the Underworld to bring us home. The Source wore your face, but that was all. You didn't do any of those things and they -- and I -- know it. James and Aziraphale came with me to bring you back -- so did Anders and Bridge and Nadia. Anders and Bridge were not about to let me do this alone. They wanted you back. Alanna and Blair came, too. Do you honestly think they would have risked so much if they didn't still love you and know that you were not the one responsible for the evil done in your body?"

Phoebe wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer to her. Having him this close made her feel alive again and she was very eager to show him how much she had missed him.

"I love you so much," Cole whispered against her lips, his hands exploring her body like he hadn't touched her in years. It had almost felt like that.

Phoebe slipped her hands beneath his shirt, letting her fingers move along his back. "I love you," she murmured as she tugged at his shirt.

Cole pushed Phoebe's shirt and bra up so he could dip his head and nuzzle her breasts. "You're so beautiful," he murmured.

She made a soft sound as he lowered his head and that sound became a sigh of happiness. She ran her hands down his side to undo his pants. There were things she could have said in response, but right now she just needed to touch him.

Cole lifted himself slightly so Phoebe could push his pants down over his hips, then turned his attention to removing her own. He just wanted to touch her, feel her.

Phoebe lifted her hips as Cole removed her pants and then she slid his down as far as she could. That done, she turned her attention back to his shirt, tugging it up so she could remove it. She wanted to feel him against her without their cllothes getting in the way.

Cole had exactly the same idea. He raised his arms so Phoebe could pull his shirt over his head, then finished removing Phoebe's shirt and bra.

Once their clothes were out of the way, Phoebe pulled him back against her and kissed him with a deep intensity.

Phoebe sighed happily as she snuggled up against him. "Welcome home..."

"Good to be home," he murmured, kissing her tenderly.

Phoebe kissed him back and looked in his eyes. "It's very good to have you home, love."

"No other place I'd rather be," Cole said softly.

Phoebe smiled and held onto him. "Never letting you leave me again."

"I don't have anywhere else to go," Cole said, squeezing her tightly.

Phoebe nodded. "You're home and you're with me. It's all I want right now."
