Suite 518/520, Thursday morning

At some point late last night, Bel had staggered back to his room, crawled into bed, and collapsed. Come morning his head was still spinning just a little, and he was disappointed to see Phoebe had snuck off to class. He was also confused -- what had gotten into him last night? He didn't giggle. Okay, maybe when Phoebe was tickling him, but definitely not like he had been last night. One thing he was sure of was that there was no such thing as a demonic giggling power that he could've absorbed in the Wastelands. That was ridiculous.

There were other reasons he was feeling confused (and somewhat excited) this morning, but he didn't know that yet. So for now he decided to stay in bed until he had good reason to get out of it. Maybe he could train the cats to bring him food.

Cole wriggled around in the bed under Phoebe until he managed to pull the blankets off himself. He hadn't bothered to get dressed. "See?" he said.

Cole gave her a puzzled look. "Why are you so concerned about it?" he asked.

"A lot of the guys in Fandom have been turned into girls," Phoebe explained. "Most of the guys in my Folklore class have been turned into girls -- including my nephew, Chris."

"Turned into girls?" Cole repeated. "How the hell did that happen?"

Phoebe shrugged. "I don't know... but I was worried I was going to come back here and you were going to be a girl instead of my Cole."

"No, still 100% male," Cole said, moving her hand to the definite proof that he was. He cocked his head and gave her a curious look. "You're still a girl, right?" he teased.

Phoebe grinned and then raised an eyebrow. "Why don't you find out?"

"I think I'll do just that," Cole said, sliding one hand under Phoebe's shirt. "So far so good," he murmured.

Phoebe smiled and ran her hands down his chest. "Mmm hmm, it seems to be okay so far..."

"Have to check everywhere," Cole said. He pulled Phoebe's shirt over her head, then turned his attention to the lower half of her body.

Phoebe squrmed against him. "Oh yes. Being thorough is very important."

Cole finished deftly removing Phoebe's clothing and inspecting her body. "Yes, I can say with 100% certainty that you're still a girl," he said.

Then came the first knock at the door. Cole sighed and went to answer it. After talking to Blair, he returned to the bed. "Now where were we?"

Phoebe curled into him. "We were making sure we both had our correct parts and were about to demonstrate how well we work together witht hese parts."

And then there was another knock at the door. "I'm gonna kill someone," Cole muttered, getting up from the bed and stalking to the door.
