Suite 518/520, Thursday morning

At some point late last night, Bel had staggered back to his room, crawled into bed, and collapsed. Come morning his head was still spinning just a little, and he was disappointed to see Phoebe had snuck off to class. He was also confused -- what had gotten into him last night? He didn't giggle. Okay, maybe when Phoebe was tickling him, but definitely not like he had been last night. One thing he was sure of was that there was no such thing as a demonic giggling power that he could've absorbed in the Wastelands. That was ridiculous.

There were other reasons he was feeling confused (and somewhat excited) this morning, but he didn't know that yet. So for now he decided to stay in bed until he had good reason to get out of it. Maybe he could train the cats to bring him food.

"It's not exactly normal, man. But what's normal anyways?" Blair shrugged and knelt down to grab a notebook from her backpack. "I figured I'd get some interviews of the mangirls and write a paper on it."

"Sorry I can't help you out there," Bel said with a smirk, though he really wasn't sorry. "I'm still 100% male."

"I wonder why you didn't switch." Blair asked, drumming her pencil on her lips. "Where you doing anything strange last night or this morning?"

"No?" Bel said. "I was in the common room last night and I've been in here all day. Okay, I was feeling kinda . . . lightheaded yesterday night."

"Lightheaded?" Blair asked, concerned. "Like you were sick or something?"

"No, more like I was kinda . . . happy," Bel said a little reluctantly.

"Happy?" Blair tilted her head. "Happy like 'ooh, lookit the puppies'? Or happy like...Bel junior is happy?"

The last was said in a rush and Blair blushed beet red.

"Happy as in . . . giggling a lot," Bel said, frowning. he glanced back toward the bedroom. "'Bel junior' was being happy up until a few minutes ago."

"Giggling is not exactly normal for you, man. Are you sure you're okay?" Blair winced. "Oops, tell Phoebe I'm sorry about interrupting."

"I'm a little tired, but otherwise I feel okay," Bel said. "No more cases of the giggles."

"That's good. No offense or anything, man. But you giggling is weird." Blair looked Bel up and down. "Are you sure you're okay? I mean..you were dead there for a bit."

"I'm in better shape than you are right now," Bel pointed out, looking meaningfully at Blair's new boobs.

"I don't know, man." Blair looked down to check out his new boobs as well. "It may not be my normal shape, but it's not too shabby."

"It's pretty nice," Bel agreed. "You could've done a lot worse." He smirked a little. "I hope somebody's recording this day for posterity."

"I took a couple of pictures to send to Broots." Blair grinned and bounced. "Just so he didn't miss out."

"You're way too excited about this," Bel noted.

"It's way cool." Blair bounced. "Are you jealous you didn't get to change?"

"Do you want a hug?"

Bel held up his hands. "No, no, not jealous at all," he said. "I like being male and I want to stay that way."

"You'd probably make a pretty girl." Blair grinned.

Bel made a face. "I don't ever want to find out," he said.

"Oh, man." Blair giggled. "If I were you, I'd knock on wood or something. That's just asking for Fandom weirdness."

"I think I've had enough of that to last a lifetime," Bel said, remembering the weekend he was the demon of love and joy with a shudder.

"You do tend to bring the weirdness to the party." Blair agreed.

"My life was perfectly normal before I came here," Bel retorted.
