Bel was pacing the room. He felt uneasy for some reason, but couldn't put his finger on why. Maybe Phoebe would be able to help him figure it out.

"Hey, sweetheart," he said, moving to her side to give her a hug. "Are you okay?"

Briana hugged him. "Of course I am. I'd be better if other people would leave me alone and quit telling me to go find this one person." She kissed his cheek. "Are you alright?"

"I just had a bad feeling," Cole said. "Maybe it was just my imagination or something." He gave Phoebe a curious look. "Who are people telling you to find?"

Hrm... maybe he had the power to see the future.

"Some guy name Bell, or Bells," Briana said with a shrug. "They kept calling him my boyfriend." She laughed. "But that makes no sense because you are my boyfriend."

Cole blinked and took a step back, alarm bells going off. "Phoebe," he said. "What's my demon name?"

Briana sifted through Phoebe's memories. "You're not a demon any longer, Cole."

So...the French stallion had once been a demon. That was something she'd have to make sure the others were aware of.

Cole roughly grabbed Phoebe by the upper arms. "What's my demon name, Phoebe?" he asked again.

"Cole, you're hurting me!" Briana made sure that her voice shook with fear and pain. "Let go."

"Whoever you are," Cole growled, "get out of Phoebe right now before I kill you."

"Oh, I don't think so," Briana smiled as her eyes flared a pinkish-purple. She shoved him away from her and pointed at him. "Freeze," she snarled in Latin.

Damn Latin. Cole froze in place.

"So, you're a demon," she said conversationally. "Why would a demon want a spineless and weak-willed wimp of a chit for a girlfriend, hmm?"

Cole glared, because that was all he could do at the moment.

Briana waved her hand. "You can speak, demon," she said with a smile. "But that is all."

"Bitch!" Bel snarled, straining against the spell that held him in place. "I am going to pull you out of there and tear you apart."

"Like, Hell," she purred. "You wouldn't want to damage this body. And even by some stroke of luck you decided to, there are others that would stop you. Anders, for instance..." She smiled. "You have no power over me, Cole. I'm not that weak."

"You have no idea who you're fucking with," Cole seethed. "I will stop you."

Briana laughed. "The only way to stop me is to kill me... and we know you won't do that." She moved to him and ran a hand down his chest. "Besides... you enjoy what I do to you... how I make your body react."

Cole might've stiffened if he wasn't already, you know, stiff. "I'll find a way," he said. "She saved me from the Source. I can save her from you."

"The Source? Ahh, Source of All Evil. That's who Wyatt thought I was. Poor guy. He's probably become cat food by now." She smiled at him. "Don't you get it, Cole? Phoebe is never coming back. She's down so far, not even I know where exactly she is." She stroked him again. "She's not like us, you know."

Cole grit his teeth, trying to ignore the feel of her touching him. He switched tacks. "Phoebe, can you hear me?" he said. "Fight it. Fight her. You're stronger than she is."
