Suite 518/520, Monday morning

Bel awoke a little disoriented (to say the least). He was clinging tightly to Anders, and Phoebe was on the other side of the bed doing the same thing. His head ached a little from residual sugar crash.

Then he remembered waking up five or six years old Saturday morning. Going off and searching for Phoebe when she wandered off. Returning that evening for dinner and . . . snuggles.

The next day he and Phoebe had snuck over to Wilson and Phale's, where he'd talked to Blair and threatened the fish and let Marie borrow his powers until Anders came to collect them.

With a groan, Bel rolled over and pulled the covers over his head.


[For the occupants or anyone who might want to knock on the door.]

Phoebe made a soft whimper as the covers moved. "No moving. No classes today."

"Good," Bel mumbled. "Don't have to leave room."

"Staying in bed all day sounds like a good plan."

It was possible the events of the weekend hadn't penetrated her brain yet.

"Noooooo," Anders protested in a muffled voice, "where'd my snuggles go?"

Bel winced and elbowed Anders.

Phoebe made a muffled noise and wrapped her arms around whichever person was closest to her.

Which would be Anders, who snuggled back while scowling and poking at Bel with his foot.

"Wait . . . you guys're normal size again!"

"Don't remind me I wasn't," Bel grumbled, rubbing his forehead.

And that would be when Phoebe started remembering parts of the weekend.

"Oh goddess," she moaned, hiding her face.

Anders laughed and moved to put an arm around each of them. "Nothing to be embarrassed about. You guys were frakking adorable."

So not mentioning the pictures. Nope.

"I was never really that small," Bel said, still in denial.

"Gahs... the things I did... or ate..."

The things Anders had on camera . . .

Trying his best to keep a straight face, he said, "If it's any help, I promise not to hold any of what you did as little kids against you."

"If you ever want to get any again you'd better not ever bring it up," Bel growled.

"Just answer me this," Phoebe said from wherever she was hiding her afce. "Please tell me that I didn't attempt to jump from balcony to balcony again?"

Anders turned his head and nuzzled her hair briefly. "There was no balcony-jumping. Just falling off the bed."

Bel pulled a pillow over his head. "Can we stop talking about being wee?" he complained.

"That would probably explain why my head and back hurt."

"But you were so cute when you were six," Anders said, grinning and poking Bel in the side. He frowned, and added to Phoebe, "You still hurt from that?"

Bel smacked Anders's hand, then pulled his head out and looked over at Phoebe. "Are you all right, sweetheart?" he said.

Phoebe smiled at him slightly. "Just bruised and sore, love, promise," she reassured him. "At least i don't have a broken arm this time?"

"Oh, sure," Anders said goodnaturedly, "nobody ask how I'm holding up after dealing with tiny sugared-up you all weekend."

"I'm sure it must've been traumatizing," Bel said dryly.

"How bad were we... and did I really hug Alec and call him a good friend?!"

"You try having to explain to the four-year-old why there are handcuffs under the bed." Anders elbowed Bel again. "Or having to chase all over town after you guys because you snuck out or shimmered out when I wasn't looking . . . which must've been when that stuff with Alec happened, because I missed that."
