Suite 518/520, Monday morning

Bel awoke a little disoriented (to say the least). He was clinging tightly to Anders, and Phoebe was on the other side of the bed doing the same thing. His head ached a little from residual sugar crash.

Then he remembered waking up five or six years old Saturday morning. Going off and searching for Phoebe when she wandered off. Returning that evening for dinner and . . . snuggles.

The next day he and Phoebe had snuck over to Wilson and Phale's, where he'd talked to Blair and threatened the fish and let Marie borrow his powers until Anders came to collect them.

With a groan, Bel rolled over and pulled the covers over his head.

"But you were so cute when you were six," Anders said, grinning and poking Bel in the side. He frowned, and added to Phoebe, "You still hurt from that?"

Bel smacked Anders's hand, then pulled his head out and looked over at Phoebe. "Are you all right, sweetheart?" he said.

Phoebe smiled at him slightly. "Just bruised and sore, love, promise," she reassured him. "At least i don't have a broken arm this time?"

"Oh, sure," Anders said goodnaturedly, "nobody ask how I'm holding up after dealing with tiny sugared-up you all weekend."

"I'm sure it must've been traumatizing," Bel said dryly.

"How bad were we... and did I really hug Alec and call him a good friend?!"

"You try having to explain to the four-year-old why there are handcuffs under the bed." Anders elbowed Bel again. "Or having to chase all over town after you guys because you snuck out or shimmered out when I wasn't looking . . . which must've been when that stuff with Alec happened, because I missed that."

"Can we please stop talking about being children?" Bel groaned. "Never happened."

"It was when he gave me a large bowl of chocolate syrup and ice cream soup," she replied helpfully. Sjhe looked over at Cole. "From what I am recalling, you were just as protective of me this weekend as you usually are."

"It was really cute," Anders mumbled. "But I like you guys much better this age. 'cept you're snugglier when you're little, Bel."

Bel thwapped Anders with the pillow. "I was not!" he insisted.

Phoebe giggled because she knew he was -- at least with Anders.

"He's always been very snuggly with me," she giggled into the pillow.

"That's 'cause it's you," Anders grumbled, snuggling closer to her. "Phoebe, make him stop hitting me!"

"You love it, or else you wouldn't go out of your way to irritate me," Bel growled.

Phoebe pulled Anders and Cole both closer to her so she could snuggle both of them.

No, she wasn't shaking with giggles. She really wasn't.

"You're laughing at me," Anders said into her shoulder. "And he's all growly and you know, it's kind of really hot . . ."

"I'm so going to kick your ass once we're out of this bed," Bel grumbled.

"Then niether one of you are allowed to get out of the bed," Phoebe decided, snuggling both of them. "Anders, he's always hot."

"I know," Anders agreed, getting more comfortable under the covers between the two of them. "Really, really hot. Which is why I'm really glad neither of you is a little kid any more, because I was getting kinda . . . frustrated."
