California, Den of Bel's Harem, Sunday afternoon

Bel sat in the living room, flipping through a college course catalog. After the classes he'd taken at Fandom, these just seemed so mundane. And all the dumb requirements! How was he supposed to pick classes he'd enjoy if he was being forced to take ones he didn't want to take? This was so stupid.

He pulled his cellphone out of his pocket and looked down at it. They'd called and left a message for Anders when they'd safely arrived at Piper and Veronica's apartment, but Bel hadn't talked to him since they'd left. He didn't know if it was too soon or not soon enough, but he knew that Isabel or Bridge would've told him if anything bad had happened.

He put the cellphone back and picked up the course catalog again, then tossed it down on the table and leaned back on the couch with a sigh.

Phoebe came in from the bedroom and sat down next to him.

"Having any luck, love?"

"What are you taking?" Cole said a little sulkily. "Maybe I should just take your classes with you."

"Psychology and religious studies. I have a demonology class, too. Mostly theoretical, obviously."

"The professor might get mad if I correct him or her," Cole said. "You think I should take those?"

Phoebe leaned her head on his shoulder. "I think you should take them... if you are interested in them. Did you see any in the catalogue that catch your interest?"

"I don't know," Cole said, slipping his arm around her waist. "There were some cool history ones, like one about the Roman Empire. But there are all these stupid requirements and I don't know how any of this stuff is supposed to help me help people. Math? How the hell am I going to help people with calculus?"

Phoebe smiled faintly. "I'm not fond of math, either, and I don't know why it's required."

Cole turned his head and kissed Phoebe. "Maybe the professors are demons," he said.

Phoebe grinned. "There goes my Major, then. I don't see them giving me good grades if they're demons."

"Just the math ones," Cole teased. "They can't all be demons."

[sensethevisions]

Phoebe laughed. "If they're demons... then we'll have to find out if they're evil, first."

"All demons are evil," Cole said. "Except, you know, me."

[sensethevisions]

"You're my Cole and definitely not evil."

[demonbelthazor]

"Because I have a soul and everything," Cole said, giving her another kiss. "Thanks to you."

Phoebe smiled at him and lay a hand against his face. "I think you give me far too much credit sometimes."

"I'm so glad I met you," Cole said softly, laying his hand over hers. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

"I'm glad I met you, Cole," she said softly. "And you will never have to know. You're stuck with me."

"Happily stuck," Cole said. "Wouldn't have it any other way. I'll never let myself be parted from you."

"Promise?"

[demonbelthazor]

"Promise," Cole said. "I came back from the dead for you, remember?"

"I'd go to hell for you, Cole," she said softly.

"And I'd die before I let anything hurt you," Cole said. Then, to lighten the mood a little, he looked around and said, "Are Piper and Veronica home?"

She shook her head. "I don't think so. I haven't seen or heard them."

Cole grinned slyly. "I wonder if this couch has been broken in yet," he mused.

Phoebe gave him a sly grin back. "There's really no way to tell..."

"Then I think it's our duty to make sure," Cole said, leaning in for another kiss.

Phoebe pulled him to her and kissed him deeply. "I think it is indeed our sacred duty."

Cole pushed Phoebe down on the cushions beneath him, kissing her hungrily. "What they don't know won't hurt them," he grinned.

"Gods... Cole..." Phoebe pulled him to her, nipping at his lip. "We're very good at keeping secrets..."

There was much kissing and caressing for the next few minutes, then Cole suddenly froze. "Wait a minute," he said, looking around the room.

Phoebe looked up him. "Sweetheart? What's wrong?"

"Spy cameras," he said, trying to figure out where one must be.

"I'm not a boy, love. There's no reason for her to be taping you and me."

[demonbelthazor]

"This is Veronica," Cole said, eying the bookshelf suspiciously. "She's probably got spy cameras all over the house."

[sensethevisions]

"Veronica wouldn't set up cameras in her own house. She wouldn't want that kind of issues if anything happened." She looked at him. "We can go into our room..."

[demonbelthazor]

Cole was torn between suspicion and an urge to be naughty right there on the couch. "She's probably got our room bugged, too," he said. Okay, maybe he was being a wee big paranoid, the big demon dork.

Phoebe *facepalmed*. "You're being paranoid, love." She let out a sigh. "But, I guess if you think she might have done any of that, then we could wait to ever have sex again until we get our own place."

"No!" Cole protested. He couldn't survive that, Phoebe beside him in bed at night but not being able to have sex.

Phoebe smiled softly at him. "Then no more paranoia and..." She gave him a very wicked look.

Cole grinned. "OK," he said, eagerly diving back into the cushions.

Phoebe grinned and returned to kissing him very thoroughly.
