A Hallway in the Arms Hotel, Saturday night

Bel was stalking down the hallway, really not happy about the phone call he'd gotten from Angela earlier. What the hell? A daughter? But there had only been that one time. How the hell was he going to explain this to Phoebe and Anders?

He stopped short as he saw the the person heading down the hallway toward him. Logan. Just what he needed to fix his mood. He took a quick look around. No one else was in the hallway, but there could be people in the rooms lining it.

He crossed his arms and glared. "Logan," he sneered.

"Bel," Logan glared, after a quick glance around. "You're in my walking space."

"You're in my breathing space," Bel growled.

"Sorry," Logan said. "I just farted."

"How 'bout I take you outside and we keep our homecoming tradition alive," Bel snapped, stepping closer to Logan. "Beating the crap out of you might improve my mood."

"I think you'll find I've learned a few new tricks," Logan said. "Bring it on."

Bel's hands snaked out and seized Logan by the shirt. "Your ass is mine," he said, then shimmered them out of the hallway and into the privacy of a hotel room. He roughly pushed Logan up against the wall. "I've been wanting to do this all day," he said in a low voice.

Logan pulled Bel's body against his. "I've been wanting you to do it," he said huskily and kissed Bel.

Bel released Logan's shirt and caught Logan's face in his hands, kissing him hungrily. "Hard enough getting privacy at the hotel," he murmured. "But with everyone we know here, it's insane."

Logan tore Bel's shirt off. "I know," he said. "We shouldn't even do this but I can't wait two days."

Logan's shirt followed Bel's to the floor, and Bel started working on getting Logan out of his pants. "Me neither," he said. "Hard enough for me to keep my hands off you for two hours."

Logan's hand slipped inside Bel's pants. "Hard indeed," he murmured.

Bel hissed at the touch of Logan's fingers. "That's all your doing," he said.

Logan pushed his hips against Bel. "And that's all you, baby," he said.

Bel turned, pulling Logan with him, and then backed Logan toward the bed. He pushed him down and finished removing his pants, revealing himself in all his turgid glory (though a convenient potted plant would hide that from the viewing audience). "You're not going to be able to walk when I'm done with you," he said.

"Oh yeah," Logan breathed. "Give it to me, baby."

Bel growled hungrily, then pressed himself over Logan and claimed his mouth in a demanding kiss. He reached out one hand to the bedside table, which the hotel had conveniently stocked as if in anticipation of the rooms being put to vigorous use.

Earlier in the day, after sneaking out of Dick's room and phoning in a report about the information she had gleaned from him, Veronica had run into Anders. He tearfully told her all about how he was convinced that Bel was having an affair and begged her to find out who he was cheating with.

Her keen detective skills discovered a hotel room booked under the name Pat Layder, which just so happened to be the name of a character played by one Aaron Echolls in a movie about forbidden love.

Suspecting the worst, she waited until nightfall and picked the lock quietly to the room.

There was a moment of shock when she spotted Bel and Logan entangled on the bed. But she recovered her wits and pulled out her special spy camera which allowed her to take silent photos with excellent lighting without a pesky flash to give her away.

Once she got the goods, she snuck out of the room, leaving the men to their hot, hot sex. She had some difficult decisions to make once she developed these photos.

Unaware of anyone watching, Logan drew Bel down into a long, lingering kiss. "Take me," he whispered. "Take me hard, take me now."

And the cameras cut away to a scene in the park. And one in the bar.

When we finally return to the hotel room, the potted plant is broken, the paintings on the wall are crocked and the bedclothing strewn about the room.

Bel and Logan lay sprawled on the bare mattress with a couple of sheets draped stragetically over them. Panting heavily and drenched in sweat, their limbs tangled together, they stared, exhausted, at the ceiling.

"I learned that in Thailand," Logan said.

"I think I owe your teacher a thank you card," Bel said. He fumbled over the side of the bed for his jacket and pulled a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket, then lighting it with a small fireball.
