Spotting Phoebe made her all the more angry. She was supposed to be dead, not in bed with Veronica's demon.

"No. This is obviously some sort of trap by the white hats. Dick and Logan nearly killed me."

Phoebe peeked her head around Cole's shoulder and stared in shock at the vampire that was her best friend.

"Holy fucking shit."

What? It was a very succinct way to express this kind of shock. This was not going to be good and the anger in the room was pretty strong.

"Then I'll deal with them later," Bel snarled. "I'm busy now." Obviously. What with the being naked with Phoebe and all.

From:

"Busy trying to stick your dick where it doesn't belong," Veronica insisted. "Can't you see that someone is trying to manipulate us into letting our guard down? We need to tell Zoe. And make sure they haven't gotten to Lindsey and Tyler."

"Zoe is not here," Phoebe said helpfully. "This is not your world, Veronica, as you can see since I'm here."

Phoebe, do not poke the evil vampire.

"Shut up, whore. I'm not talking to you."

Veronica shifted back to her normal face and gave Bel a pleading look. "Please don't let her trick you. We don't know how they brought us here or where here is."

From:

"Then you go find Lindsey and Tyler," Bel ordered Veronica. "And stay away from Phoebe. If you lay one hand on her...." Because he knew Veronica and what she did when she found out he was sleeping with someone else. Usually, it amused him, but not today.

Oh hell no.

"You skanky vampire bitch, you do not get to call me something like that."

Phoebe was already trying to go around Cole on the bed to get at Veronica.

From:

Mmmm, Veronica was hungry after all.

"Bring it on, bitch," she said, not realizing yet that she wouldn't be able to enter the room. "I haven't eaten yet today and you're obviously not who you say you are."

"She's Phoebe, I know she is," Bel snapped, holding Phoebe back. And if it was some sort of hallucination, he wasn't going to fight it too hard. "You touch her, and I will stake you, got it?" And, because he was equal opportunity in giving orders, he told Phoebe, "Stay away from her. Don't provoke her."

Phoebe had been worried when it was just Cole that had woken up changed, but now that it was Veronica, too, that worry was turning into something much stronger.

She was glaring at Veronica and when Cole tried to give her orders, she gave him a look of disbelief. "This is my home and I'm not going to be treated like that here." Then she looked back at Veronica, very aware of the emotions in the room.

"And if you harm anyone in this hotel, I will vanquish you."

She hoped if the situations were reversed and she was the danger, V would do the same thing for her. She was really getting close to screaming for Piper so they could contain this...

...and then she worried that it wouldn't be Piper who responded.

"I won't touch her."

For now.

"But if you fuck her, I'll fuck Anakin."

Even if he was a whiny, sniveling brat. She knew Bel hated him.

She ignored Phoebe's threats for the moment.

"I'd like to see you try," Bel laughed (despite that thought being really vomit-inducing). "He'd stake your ass before he'd touch it."

He looked down at Phoebe. "No vanquishing anyone. Not until we figure out what's going on here. We need to talk to Angelus."

"Angelus is dead."

Yes, Veronica. And so were Phoebe and Dick last time you checked.

From:

"Angel," she snapped, reaching for some clothing to pull on since Veronica was still here. (And if she needed to call for help, she'd prefer to be dressed.) "His name, is Angel. Angelus has been gone for a long time."

"I don't care what he wants to call himself as long as he's -- wait, what do you mean by gone?" Bel said. He wasn't in a hurry to get dressed himself. Both Phoebe and Veronica had seen him naked plenty of times, and he liked to show off, after all. "He's not dead anymore, like you, right? Echolls didn't stake him?"

"Oh, please," Veronica said, rolling her eyes from her spot in the doorway. She hadn't yet attempted to cross the threshold in to the room. "We can't trust anything these people say. Obviously they are just trying to kill us all and take the island back."

Phoebe pulled on a shirt of Cole's that she could reach and then looked at him, shaking her head.

"Of course Logan didn't stake him. Angel is one of the good guys and we don't kill the good guys." She got out of the bed, standing between the bed and the door so that she could watch both of them. "And you guys aren't in Fandom, like I said before." That was directed at Veronica.

"And I told you to shut up, whore," Veronica said, twirling her hair. Hey, look, Bel only told her not to touch Phoebe.

"Logan and Dick totally tried to kill me. Dick and Phoebe and Angelus are supposed to be dead. Something isn't right and if we're not careful, we're gonna get ourselves killed."

"Call me a whore again and I'm going to show you just how much is different here than the world you're from, bitch."

She was so heading for her tools to get holy water or an athame. Just watch her.

"Knock it off, both of you," Bel ordered. Although the thought of a catfight was kind of hot. But only if it didn't end with one of them dying. The next question was directed at Phoebe. "What do you mean, Angelus is a white hat now? That's crazy."

She rolled her eyes at him even trying to tell her not to do anything.

"I told you that this was a different world," Phoebe said softly. "I mean, Cole, all you have to do is look at me. In your world I was murdered when I was still a kid. I'm not a kid any longer." She shook her head. "Angel has been one of the good guys for years." Not counting that one time with the accidental... "The Veronica that belongs in this world is human and you're not evil."

Veronica laughed. "How the hell are you falling for this bullshit? Whoever set this up knew damn well what would distract both of us. This feels all wrong."
