Angelus gives him a look. "Not sex. Christ, even soul boy managed to seduce his hand once in a while. Oh no, perfect happiness."

Angelus clasped his hands to his chest, looking Heavenward with dreamy eyes. "Being with his one true love, the Slayer, the most wonderful girl in all the world who dared to speak his name and take him into her tender body heart and soul and - " Angelus grimaced, looking as though he might spit if not for the fact that he respected Cole enough not to mess up his floor. "God. Seriously, if I get the soul again rip it the hell out of me, would ya? It's not exactly a proud feature."

"Perfect happiness, huh?" Belthazor repeats. "Was that part of the curse or do you think that works for, uh, any demon with a soul? Not that I know any."

He laughs, hoping not too nervously. "Don't look at me to take care of it personally. Linds here is the one with the thing for hot man-on-man action."

"Don't know, all I know is it's the fun of my particular curse," Angelus says. "It's not like there's vamps lining up around the block to get a soul of their very own. But hey, you never know. There's always shamans and Trials as a way of ripping it out." Angelus gave them both a sharp look. "I'm counting on you to remember that if I get cursed with one again."

"Don't worry," Belthazor says. "You're a lot more fun this way. Last thing I'd want to see is you pulling an Anakin."

"That Anakin plan a definite by the way?" Angelus asks. "Because I'll start on that next time I see him, if you want. Tell me what you want to say and I'm all over it."

"Oh yeah," Belthazor says, nodding. "The way he acts right now, he's liable to go running to his 'Master' if he thinks we're up to something no good. Push him over the edge with Padme and he's ours. And I think all that pent up anger could bring some serious firepower."

He settles back in his chair. "I'll see about arranging some more private tutoring sessions with Padme."

"Excellent," Angelus takes a deep drag off of his cigarette. "I think he's going to be real useful to us once we can turn him."

Angelus pauses. Thinks. "Huh. Wonder if I could turn him?"

Belthazor grins wickedly. "Only one way to find that out."

Angelus takes a pencil off of the desk. He sketches in a rough outline of what Anakin would look like with fangs and ridges. "We'll call that plan B. If the stick won't come out of his ass your way, I'll make with the siring. But we'll try your way first."

Angelus's eyes flash a quick hint of gold. "The betrayal will taste better if he's still got his soul."

Belthazor nods. "Oh yes. It's always best to see the look in their eyes right before they break."

"A demon after my own heart," Angelus blew out a circle of smoke to punctuate the statement. "I should tell you the story about the almost-nun I turned one time."

"You'll love it," Angelus runs the tip of his pencil along a blank page, starting to sketch out a picture of Dru. "There's torture, death, and I drove her nuts."
