"Exactly," Angelus starts to underline the names of the definites. "And in the meanwhile, we get started with our 'officers' and get the true work of the club going. I'm thinking we call a meeting tomorrow night. Club officers only. I'll email 'em to let them know. I'll tell the rest hey, thanks for joining, yadda yadda, we're dealing with administrative bullshit but I'll keep you posted. Then, once we've got the core group down, we move on to dealing with the others. Put on a good show for the faculty and everything."
"I'll get on it," Angelus says. He shows them the list of the remaining names. "Everybody else reads like a probie at best. My gut's not to trust, but I'd hate to kick anybody out who could be useful.
"What pisses me off," Angelus continues, gesturing with his cigarette, "is that I know we've got more potential around here and they're just not showing up. Like this Luthor guy I've heard about. We could use someone like him. Especially since Logan turned out to be a pussy."
"Good plan. Let me know when and where and I'll be there." Belthazor stands up. "And in the meantime, I'm going to try to find a moment of true happiness of my own," he adds with a predatory grin.
"I always do," Angelus flips his notebook closed, gathering up the spare pages along the way. "And, seriously, if you can get some of that do. She's quite the ride."
"I'll keep that in mind," Belthazor says. "I'm on a 'sweet and innocent' kick right now, but there's just something about a girl who knows how to move."
"I'm juggling three at the moment," Belthazor says, smirking. "A couple sisters and cute little Egyptian history geek down the hall named Evie. There's this redhead at the other end of the hall, too...Kimber, Kimberly, something like that. And Evie apparently has a roommate who is just as sweet and innocent as her, I hear."
"There's a redhead around, name of Rosenberg," Angelus holds a hand out to indicate Willow's height. "Friend of the Slayer. Not a friend of mine. You see her around, feel free to shoot to kill. Though watch out for the boyfriend. He's a furry."
"Good to know," Belthazor says. "Probably a good idea to make a list of all the definite good guys we run into around here and keep tabs on them, too."
He heads for the door. "I'll work on that later. Got some more important things to deal with right now, if you know what I mean."
"Me too," Angelus mimes shooting a gun in Cole's direction. His eyes are filled with the promise of all the mischief to come. "Bel, something tells me this is the start of a beautiful friendship."
The thought of the mayhem to come fills Belthazor with glee. "Oh yes, and I look forward to each and every moment of it. Talk to you tomorrow," he says.
