East Attic, Friday evening around 5:00

Bel paced the East Attic, waiting for people to arrive. He'd called up several people hoping they could help him tonight.

This was it. He had already betrayed the Underworld, but if he rescued Phoebe and fought his mother, there would be no turning back, ever.

Cameron knocked on the door a little before 17:00, he had his personal body guard in tow.

The body guard in question waits patiently, curious to finally meet Bel.

Bel opened up the door. "Hey," he said, sounding weary. He recognized Molly but had never really met her before.

Angel came up at 5 as requested. He showed no signs of his injury from the week before.

"Thanks for coming," Bel said. "I'm going to really need you tonight."

Faithful bounced off of Alanna's shoulder and on to Angel's.

Nadia showed up with her leatherman, her mallet, and a homemade flame thrower tucked into her backpack. She also had a determined expression in reserve for anyone who tried to tell her she wasn't allowed to go fight.

Bel blinked at Nadia as she arrived. "What are you doing here?" he asked.

Piper, already waiting in the east attic, was also pacing. Nervously.

Paige orbed straight into the room looking frantic, "what the hell's happening?" she asks looking around at everyone else in the room.

Camulus stomps onto the scene. Bristling with weapons? Not so much an overstatement at the moment. Growl.

Bel looked at Camulus in surprise. "I know you're a teacher and all," he said, "but are you allowed to have those on campus? You'd better hide those or security could give us trouble."

Alanna showed up, Faithful on her shoulder and the left leg of her pants ripped.

"Alanna, Faithful," Bel said, grinning maybe just a little. "Thanks for coming."

Bridge shows up around five, like Nadia had told him to.

"Hey," Bel said, letting Bridge in. "You here to help or to see Piper or Veronica?"

Pippi arrives promptly at 5:00, with a few other people probably in tow.

Ivanova is in tow. A little bewildered, but in tow.

"Pippi," Bel said. "Glad you could make it. And I see you brought friends. Cool."

Veronica was still sitting on the floor at the coffee table, lists and maps and plans spread out in front of her. She glanced up as each person walked in, but wasn't going to strike up any conversations.

Isabel arrived and took a seat in the corner, ready to listen.

Bel gave Isabel a grateful look as she came in.

Inspirational Speech? Nah.

Bel cleared his throat and began to speak: "I've asked for your help because Phoebe has been kidnapped. By my mother. She's a demon, and she's as evil as they come. She's the one who attacked Allie, she wants Phoebe and her sisters to die, and she's made threats to a few others, like Isabel, Nadia, Lana, Pippi, and Kiki. She's dangerous. She has the same powers as me, and then some. She can shimmer and throw fireballs, and she's much better at magic than I have been in the past." A hint of a smile might have crossed his face.

"She likes spells that mess with your emotions -- fear, rage, sorrow," Bel went on. "And she's not going to be alone. I'm hoping she's going to keep the number of minions small because she doesn't want the Source of All Evil to know what she's doing. But they won't be mindless zombies, they'll be demons, and without seeing them I can't tell you the exact way to kill them or what their powers will be. Just be careful."

He was starting to feel a little self-conscious with everyone looking at him. "Kiki did a locater spell last night," he went on. "Phoebe's on the western part of the island, the rocky area. I'm betting there are caverns there that my mother is hiding out in. Demons tend to like underground areas. We'll probably have to split up to cover all the tunnels.

"Um. Any questions?"



[ooc: We're setting up the post, talk amongst yourself or ask questions. We're going to do a handwavey trek to the opening of the caverns and split up almost immediately. Wheee.]
