Behind City Hall, Friday night

Bel stalked out of the dance and walked behind the building. He took off his coat and dropped it on the ground, then lit up a cigarette and waited for Logan to come out, unless he chickened out.

This was gonna feel good.

Bel glared at Walter as he slowly got back to his feet, but he didn't go for an immediately attack, not with a teacher now on the scene. "We were just having a disagreement," he said to the Doctor. "Nothing you need to worry about."

Logan stood up slowly and painfully. "We're fine," he said shortly.

The Doctor rolled his eyes, getting a fairly good idea of what was going on.

"Are you going to continue to have a disagreement if I leave, or should I wait here patiently until you amicably leave each other alone?"

Walter stood up and brushed off his trousers. He was watching both combatants, but had a feeling this was probably just about over.

This had been a great night.

Bel shot Logan a dark look. "You're so damn lucky," he said in a low voice. "But now you can go crying to Angel to kiss it and make it better."

Logan gave Bel a furious look. "You can suck my cock," he said in a low voice.

Bel smirked. Not quite the reaction he was expecting, but...interesting. "No thanks," he said. "I know where it's been."

"Boy, you can just taste the unresolved sexual tension, can't you? Oh, wait, that's stupidity, isn't it? Would you two run along like good boys, before I get the nerve up to do something rash?"

The Doctor was not pleased.

"Whatever," Bel said in disgust. He picked up his coat and dug his cigarettes out of the pocket, pulled one out, and conjured a small fireball to light it. After taking a couple puffs, he looked at Logan. "We'll finish this later," he promised. "Tell Angel I say hi." He walked away.

Logan rolled his eyes at the theatrics and stalked off in the other direction.

Walter went to retrieve the cigarette he'd dropped a minute or three ago.

He was in an absolutely fabulous mood now.

"Humans," the Doctor said, shaking his head. "Typical. Absolutely typical."

Walter shrugged and blew a cloud of smoke. "You know you like us."

"And that is the final proof of my insanity," the Doctor said. "Good night, Mister Dornez. Please don't mug anyone else tonight, that's a good fellow."

Walter waved idly at the Doctor and turned away to talk to Nadia. "I won't mug anyone tonight. You have my word, Doctor."
