Suite 518/520, Thursday morning/early afternoon

The X-Men had returned Bel and Phoebe and the others to Fandom late last night. Bel was still a little freaked out about seeing Kitty, but it was good to be home. His body was stiff and sore and bruised from the fighting at the Statue of Liberty, and he welcomed the chance to sleep in his own bed again. He wasn't, however, particuarly looking forward to the questions and accusations that were probably waiting for him, and he lingered in bed come morning, dreading getting up.

But Marie was safe, and that was what mattered. He'd deal with everything else as it came.

Bel nodded. "I won't be around at all this weekend," he said. "Going to Alanna's home with her for a special event. Just so you don't think someone vanquished me if you don't see me around."

"Good to know. Next week, then, if I don't see you, should I panic then?" she said it with a smile, but it was a half-serious question. If he didn't know what he was capable of handling, he could be in trouble. "Well, I'll stop bothering you now."

Bel gave her a half-smile. "Yeah, you can panic then, and start looking for the body. Start with Marty's room, or the Winchesters." Then, more seriously, he added, "Thanks for coming by."
