Suite 518/520, Monday morning

Bel awoke a little disoriented (to say the least). He was clinging tightly to Anders, and Phoebe was on the other side of the bed doing the same thing. His head ached a little from residual sugar crash.

Then he remembered waking up five or six years old Saturday morning. Going off and searching for Phoebe when she wandered off. Returning that evening for dinner and . . . snuggles.

The next day he and Phoebe had snuck over to Wilson and Phale's, where he'd talked to Blair and threatened the fish and let Marie borrow his powers until Anders came to collect them.

With a groan, Bel rolled over and pulled the covers over his head.

Anders made a choking noise. "Oh, so not fair," he objected, but he relented. "Sorry," he muttered to Bel. "I won't bring it up again."

"Not if you want to live," Bel mumbled, then buried his head in the pillow again.

"Threatening counts as baiting and fighting, my love." She poked Anders. "I don't have to be fair."

Anders buried his face in her shoulder as he nudged Bel. "Saying you'll hold out on us is so totally a threat too," he insisted.

"Uh huh," Bel agreed from the depths of the pillow.

"Nope, that's a promise. It's different." She hugged them both, stroking Anders's hair and Cole's head.

"Nuh uh," Anders argued, though he was snuggling into her. "There's still a threat there if we don't behave, right, Bel?"

"Uh huh," Bel agreed, though he did catch Phoebe's hand and squeeze it. "Not fair."

Her lips twitched as she held onto Cole's hand and played with Anders's hair.

"Completely fair, two of you and only one of me."

"Lucky you," Anders teased, closing his eyes and leaning into her hand. "And wow, can we stay here all day? 'cause I kind of missed this kind of snuggling all weekend."

"I wholeheartedly advocate not leaving the room," Bel said.

"I have no plans to go anywhere."
