Western Fandom Island, Friday night

After a trek to the western portion of Fandom Island, Our Heroes reached the entrance to some old sea caverns. There were several tunnels heading off in different directions. Bel was fairly certain which one led to his mother; she was really making no attempt to hide. But there were other demons lying in wait down the side tunnels as well, and they couldn't afford to have them come up behind them.

"Okay," Bel said, trying to be all leader-like. "Group one is Cam, Molly, and Alanna. You take the tunnel on the far left. Group two is Bridge, Isabel, Walter and Camulus. You take the tunnel to the near left. Group three takes the right hand tunnel and is John, Ivanova, Pip and Pippi. Angel, Piper, Paige, and I are going down the middle. We'll meet up back here. Is everyone all set?"

The sound the demon made was something between a snarl and a howl of pain. Her eyes flicked back they way she had come and then to the entrance.

"Dead." She said as she tried to pull the sword out of her. "Or at least she soon will be. Elishevara has no use for a witch who is that good inside." She shook her head. "You'll be too late. You're all fodder."

"Wrong answer," Camulus snarled, pulling the sword out of her with a wet squelch. The sword spun and descended, neatly seperating head from neck in one vicious swipe.

"Well, that was... different." Bridge says, shaking his head. He then continues leading the others down the tunnel... until they reach a dead end.

"Okay. Time to backtrack." Walter turned around and passed Isabel to retrace their way back down the tunnel to an open area (http://demonbelthazor.livejournal.com/34213.html?thread=585893#t585893).
