Western Fandom Island, Friday night

After a trek to the western portion of Fandom Island, Our Heroes reached the entrance to some old sea caverns. There were several tunnels heading off in different directions. Bel was fairly certain which one led to his mother; she was really making no attempt to hide. But there were other demons lying in wait down the side tunnels as well, and they couldn't afford to have them come up behind them.

"Okay," Bel said, trying to be all leader-like. "Group one is Cam, Molly, and Alanna. You take the tunnel on the far left. Group two is Bridge, Isabel, Walter and Camulus. You take the tunnel to the near left. Group three takes the right hand tunnel and is John, Ivanova, Pip and Pippi. Angel, Piper, Paige, and I are going down the middle. We'll meet up back here. Is everyone all set?"

Pippi shouldered the sabre she picked up from her boat on the was.

"Don't worry Bel. We'll find her."

"Be careful. She saw you visit me in jail so she knows you're a friend," Bel warned. "And she doesn't want me to have any friends."

Molly stopped with Cam and Alanna outside the far left tunnel. "I'm going first since I can take the most damage," she whispered to them. Without giving them a chance to protest, she headed in.

Cameron opened his mouth to protest, decided better of it and just grumbled to himself. Tightening his grip on his sword, he followed Molly inside.

"I'll take lead," Bridge says, heading in to the tunnel on the left. "That way I can let you guys know of any trouble before *they* see *us,"

Camulus growled, drawing the biggest, shiniest, and sharpest of his swords. "You're a scout then?" he grumbled, only the boy's confidence keeping him from stomping past himself. He was grumpy and growly and something in there had his First Prime.

Pip took a glance down the left tunnel. "Okay... Pippi. You can take the most damage out of all of us. So would you mind taking point?"

"What if I get a con-cushion?" Pippi smirks at him as the takes a spot at the front of the marching order group.

As soon as everyone had left, Faithful turned to Veronica and Nadia. "So, you coming along?"

Nadia pulled her mallet out of her bag and tucked it into her waistband where she could get at it faster. "Hell, yes."

She totally owed Faithful a very large fish.

Walter and the rest of the group emerged from their dead end tunnel and looked around.

"I hope someone else has already found her. I feel like we wasted a lot of time."

Alanna came out from her tunnel. Cam had volunteered to escort Molly back to the dorms when it became obvious the other girl might need to be carried back soon.

Pip and his group came out of the left tunnel, covered in red goo. "Someone tell me we've found the demon queen and she's dead. That we've found Phoebe and she's alright, and that we can have a quick hurrah and go home to shower."

His eye glinted, and he toyed with a knife in his hand. "Unless, of course, we haven't, in which case, I guess I can bare to get a little messier tonight."
