After Bridge's group had left the lobby, Bel gathered up everyone who remained and any stragglers who walked in late. "Okay, we're going to follow light number two," he said. "Let me just tell everyone that Marie's probably gonna be scared, so don't push her. Don't try to grab her. Really, do not touch her. We just find her and talk to her and convince her everything is okay, got it? If she runs, we follow, but we don't try to scare her anymore than she already is."


[ooc: Note - this post starts in dorms, goes into town, and winds back to the camp . . . which is why it's in Bel's LJ. Wait for OCD!]

Zuko came out of Stickbug, Marie following behind him. He didn't move completely towards Bel as he didn't want her to pull a runner.

"Found something," he remarked.

Marie was following... at a distance and with a sheet wrapped around her to avoid exposing too much skin.

Marie shrugged. "Do you know if Jamie's okay?" she asked, remembering what Zuko had told her.

"He's gonna be all right," Bel said. "He's really worried about you."

"I didn't mean to hurt him," Marie said quietly.

Phoebe looked incredibly relieved to see that Marie was safe and in one piece.

"Thank god," she said softly to her friend.

Marie gave Phoebe a sad smile.

Phoebe moved closer but didn't attempt to touch her. She started to say something and then sighed softly. She looked from Marie and then Cole, before looking back to Marie again.

"Hun... can you help us find the real you?"

Marie shook her head. "We all ran in different directions," she said.

Kaylee wasn't quite sure what was going on, but she was very relieved to see that her friend was safe.

Marie was surprised to see so many of her friends there, but she managed to give Kaylee a wave.

Kaylee figured Marie must be feeling overwhelmed, so she didn't say anything. She just gave her a small smile, letting her know she's there for her.

Everything seemed to be alright now as people were talking to Marie and he wasn't sure what he was doing here to begin with anyway.

Zuko quietly stepped back and headed to... somewhere. He'd find his way to the dorms eventually but that whole not being able to read the signs thing meant he was taking a small detour.

Pip nodded and knew better than to disobey someone in that state. "You'll be alright," he said.

Marie didn't actually think that was true, but she just nodded again.

Lana just smiled at her as warmly and reassuringly as she could. She hung back a bit as Marie seemed a bit overwhelmed and Lana didn't want to add to her stress.

Marie waved at Lana and was glad to see her friend didn't try to get too close. She didn't want to hurt her.

Wilson returned from checking out Puffin and the frown he was wearing at coming up blank shifted to an expression of relief as he saw the kids gathering around a dark haired girl who looked...

Er...

Anyway, it looked as if Marie had been found.

Bel nodded toward Wilson. "Can you take a quick look at her? Just don't let your skin touch hers."

Nodding without hesitation, Wilson might have given Bel a bit of a double look at the instructions, just because he'd only caught snippets of what exactly had happened.

"Do...do we know if surgical gloves would be safe?" He asked, more curious than in any need to push the issue, Marie seemed unharmed, no open bleeding wounds that needed to be closed, no obvious broken bones but it seemed best to ask questions now then get into a crunch situation later.

"Gloves work fine," Bel said in a low voice, "as far as I know. But if you feel weird or anything back off right away. Jamie's in the clinic because of what she did but as far as I could gather it was a full on kiss that did it. Real physical contact with no protection."

Pulling the bag around, Wilson withdrew the heavy duty looking blue EMT gloves from one of the pockets. They were certified for heavy work in potentially contaminated blood areas and might give a more comforting image of proper protection.

"Okay, she knows you, right Bel? How about you give us an introduction so I don't frighten her further?" He said softly, giving Bel a quick smile.
