The Mighty Belthazor

Dean was enjoying being part of the show as much as the other boys were, but there was something niggling in the back of his brain trying to get his attention, insisting that something wasn't quite right. He just couldn't focus on it, not when he was busy enjoying the dancers getting him all hot and bothered.

Hot and...

That was it. Someone dancing around under those hot lights should be covered in sweat, be warm to the touch at least. Not cool, bordering on cold.

Testing his sudden horrible idea, he eased out the flask of holy water he'd shoved in his pocket before leaving the hotel out of habit, flipped the cap off and splashed some on the dancer who was all but licking his neck.

The dancer shrieked in pain as her flesh sizzled where the water struck her. She dropped all pretenses of merely being an exotic dancer and slashed at Dean with fingernails that suddenly looked a lot like claws.

Half-prepared for that kind of reaction, Dean jumped back from her attack, but not quick enough to avoid it entirely, hissing a little in pain as her fingernails drew blood on his arm.

"Sorry, sweetheart," he told her with a tight grin, splashing more water directly at her face. "No one said anything about dinner with the show."

Anders was having far too much fun to even notice the body temperature of the "dancer" paying attention to him, much less what had just happened with Dean and the vampire.

He might even have been quite obediently and conveniently baring his neck. "I can see why Bel gets off on this stuff," he told her lazily.

She laughed throatily. "You'll be getting off, too, cutie," she said as she pressed her fangs into Anders's conveniently bared neck.

Blair was trying to wrench his eyes, and his brain, away from looking at what was directly in front of him.

"Um..." He blushed at the squeakiness of his voice. "Can we talk about the ritual stuff now?"

"You're part of it, honey," she purred, circling around him. "The drinking of...virgin?...blood." She took firm hold of his shoulders and started to lower her head to his neck.

Bel? Well, he was still completely obviously to any danger, even as a pair of dancers pulled his shirt and jacket off and looped a rope around his wrists and hoisted him into the air. He was having the time of his life.

One of the dancers reached up and pulled his head down, fangs pushing into his neck. She drew back and looked at her companion in surprise. "Demon!" she hissed.

"Tasty," the other purred, claiming the other side of Bel's neck.

Bel was enjoying this far too much.

Meanwhile, Dean's vampire friend was still shrieking and reeling from the holy water eating at her flesh like acid. Her cries attracted one of the other vampires, who growled and lunged at Dean, trying to knock the flask out of his hand before he could do more harm.

Dean dodged and tossed the last of his holy water at the new vampire, looking around wildly for anything he could use as a weapon. Spotting a broom lying in the wings, he ran for it, grabbing it and smashing it against the floor until it broke. This left him with a makeshift stake.

Then he looked around to see which vampire needed killing the most.

Blame the adrenaline, or maybe the pheromones, but Anders was having absolutely no problem whatsoever with the fact that the vampire dancer behind him had sunk her fangs just deep enough into his neck now to break the skin. And he was certainly in no mood to move away.

"So about that whole getting me off thing . . ." he muttered happily.

"Just relax," the vampire murmured, licking at the blood that was starting to trickle from his neck. She smiled against his skin, her arms tight around him as she started to sink her fangs in deeper.

"I was just kidding about the enthrall thing," Dean muttered under his breath, going to get the vampire off Ander before he became vampire chow.

Fortunately the distraction seemed to be working both ways, allowing Dean to get close enough to thrust his makeshift stake at her heart from behind.

Enthralled or not, even Anders couldn't miss out on the sudden lack of contact, or hands running over his body. He turned and blinked in consternation when he saw Dean there.

"Aw, man, what'd you -- oh."

Look, he wasn't entirely oblivious all the time. Then the significance of Bel being chained up, and Blair still in the clutches of another vampire, sank in.

"Oh . . . frak."

Not far away, a blonde vampire was very firmly wrapped around Blair. His hair was proving most bothersome to her as she kept trying to brush it out of the way to get a clear spot on his neck to sink her fangs into.

"Dude...first off, that tickles! Secondly, why does everyone just assume I'm a virgin." Blair frowned and tried to wrench out of the vampire's grasp unsuccessfully, eventually just turning his head enough to face her.

"That's really offensive, man. That'd be like me looking at you and saying 'oh, she's just a dumb blonde slutty cheerleader'. Which is probably not what you're like at all. You could be very shy and smart, or have a husband or be a nun or maybe you work here in order to save up money to put yourself through veterinary school so you can save wee puppies and kitties!"

The vampire drew back her head and looked at Blair in confusion. So not the reaction she was expecting.

Blair gave as much of a bounce as he could while still being held and grinned. "It's the puppy thing, isn't it? I thought you looked like a puppy person."

"Well, actually, I was thinking other stuff when I saw you but I'm sure I would have come up with the puppy thing eventually. After a while. Maybe after you put on a shirt."

"I eat puppies!" the vampire snarled.

"..." Blair blinked. "Doesn't the fur get stuck in your teeth?"

The vampire laughed. "You're cute," she said. "Maybe I'll keep you around for awhile. But right now I'm hungry." She jumped at Blair, fangs bared.

"Oh, the hell you do." Anders hadn't exactly been hoping for this kind of cold shower, but now that he'd gotten it there was no point in just standing around and oh, say, letting people get EATEN.

Hoping he wouldn't hear it for unnecessary violence later on, he lowered a shoulder and charged, hoping to knock the vampire out of the way.

. . . the topless thing was distracting, but not that distracting.

The vampire was knocked off her feet, but quickly sprang back up. "Wait your turn," she growled.

"Had mine," Anders told her, wiping blood from his neck. "You got this one, Winchester? I'm gonna go see about Bel over there," he called, sprinting toward where a chained-up Bel was still getting hungry looks from two more 'dancers.'
